Bradford comparison vs Claussen comparison (1 Viewer)

Who do you guys think are good comparisons for these two guys ?

My comparisons are:

Claussen = Bulger

Bradford = Rivers with a higher ceiling

Is that, "... you ####ers !!" the same expletive that Arnie Cunningham and Roland LeBay of "Christine" fame liked to use? If so, :rolleyes:

Bradford - The OP compared Clausen to Bulger, but Bulger is actually a pretty good comparison for Bradford. Like Bulger, Bradford can make enough of the throws. But we all saw what happened to Bulger the last couple years when he had one too many injuries. Bradford's intangibles are higher than Bulger's though. I mean two years ago we were convinced he was Joe Montana, so even with tempered optimism, that still puts him in the same league as Sanchez and Ryan.

Clausen - Todd McShay compared him to JP Losman, and I think that is apt. I always want to compare him to Cutler; he's not as big of a ##### as Cutler, and he doesn't have the elite talent Cutler does either.

Bradford- When I watch him I see an improved version of Brad Johnson.

Clausen- I think Cutler without the arm is pretty accurate.

Pretty good analogy. I'll take a shot, myself.I think Bradford today is like a Flacco. I think Clausen today is like a Bruce Gradkowski.

Did you see the video of Bradford today ? Rolling out and hitting his receiver ? Bulger could NEVER do that. Bulger is a statue and has very little upside. Bulger can hit a receiver if he has time, but is that really saying much ? I would hope all QB's in the NFL could do that. Bulger brings very little to the table. Bradford is way more athletic than Bulger is and it's not even close.
