Brady Quinn week 2 sleeper? (1 Viewer)

Quinn went for 205 and 1, but could have been 250 and 2 had Edward's TD not been overturned. Pretty good vs a tough Minnesota defense. Denver was among the bottom teams in pass defense last year, and they still have questions because Cinci still is unknown as a good offense.

For people looking for a week 2 WW play, could Quinn be worth a gamble?

Jamal Lewis seems like a decent play based on his 104 yard performance last week and Benson's numbers against the Broncos. Not sure if Quinn is.

C. Benson 21 76 1, 3.6 YPC, + 4 catches for 32 yards. The Achilles heel for the Denver D is linebackers in pass defense. They are basically running a 5-2 right now, and the strong side LB is slow (Andra Davis). They don't have anyone who can stick with a dynamic back out of the backfield or a dynamic TE (SD will kill Den this year - I mean more than usual). Cincinnati doesn't have anyone that fits that bill, and so their O struggled. Benson did his most damage as a reciever. I'd look for Royal and Jamal to do have a few catches, but I'd hate to count on that production as a Quinn owner. Also, Denver's backfield has been completely re-done vs last year - the only holdover is Champ, who is healthy and looked sharp vs Ochocinco. I wouldn't look at last years numbers as a guide here.

Quinn is...... not good.
None of them are any good. Sadly, I think Anderson would've been sacked twice as much today. While he's a great special teamer, Cribbs really isn't a good WR. Perhaps they should put him in at QB.

Edwards is hot and cold and plays below his talents.

Their D is ok, but really their pass rush today was woeful.

It's going to be a long year for Cleveland, methinks.
