Brady the choke artist... (1 Viewer)

Who was he even throwing the ball to? Slater, Mulligan, Dobson, Mouuhrrjjrinrnwalli...

Pretty sure if Brady was surrounded by the cast in Den, the results would've been much different.

Seriously...Manning's fourth passing option (Welker) is better than Brady's first option. I am a Jets fan...would love for my QB to "choke" as much Brady.

:fishing:

With stinky bait no less.

Eventually the 'choker' label on Manning will have to be removed, instead of revived. But that doesn't excuse this thread.

Weird. Manning's situation (defense) was always discounted when he "choked". It's almost like there's a double standard or something.

So one game negates a career of clutchness?
I disagree with this thread's premise, but Brady has had a lot piss poor playoff performances over the years, so it's not like yesterday was his first crappy playoff game (and years from now, I suspect some will look at just his stats and surmise that he had a good game). Oddly, most of his poor playoff performances have come in AFC championship games. Still one of the best ever, though.

4-6 in his last 10 playoff appearances, with 10 interceptions.
And 18 touchdown passes. As much as I like having the Brady/Manning debate, it is stupid to me when people nitpick Peyton, who is clearly one of the top QBs ever, and it's stupid to me to see people today nitpicking Brady, who is also clearly one of the top QBs ever.

BUT YOU HAVE TO PICK JUST ONE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Winning those Super Bowls early has his legacy all the cushion that he needs.....but he hasn't exactly been a juggernaut in the playoffs since Spygate......so much so....that I do think the "overrated" tag has to be placed on him.

No reasonable person disagrees.

There's just something awfully befitting about the Brady camp explaining circumstances and how it's a team game after years and years of "you can have your stats I'll take the clutch wins bro".

They deserve all the trolling they get.

Meh....a bull#### defense.....seeing as he did it with scrubs back in the day and they have/had a decent running game. Plus....that defense isn't extended to just about any other players when their team comes up short.
