...Weekend

Seems to be the best of what we could have gotten.

Next Sunday is going to be awesome IMO.

Should be good.

I think it's easy to argue that, from week 1 till now, these have been the best four teams this season. Only fitting that they are the four that remain.

Yep.

Really pumped for it.

Don't have a dog in the race, but this is going to be awesome. The anticipation leading up to the games (and the ensuing SB) will be better than the games themselves.

I would prefer Pittsburgh at full strength personally but as is, it's fine.
I think that argument could be made. I think, for me, it's more about Brady vs Manning - both on the back ends of their careers. This is just epic. Steelers, probly had a better chance at beating Pats tho at full strength.

I have to disagree with you on that one. Denver's defense is going to be the X factor in this game.

All I know is my 15 y.o. son is 8-0 in my wife's office pool and I'm 5-3. The more you know the less you know IMO.

Definitively the final TB/PM showdown. I think the Panthers are a safe bet. I think Cam is ready to proclaim his spot at the top of the NFL food chain. Defense playing amazing. AFC? That will be the highlight of next Sunday. Excited. Gonna be a long week.

Not sure anyone is a safe bet. 4 really good teams with 4 solid QBs. This will be a fun weekend. Go Panthers!

And I will disagree with you on that, the den def doesn't worry me nearly as much as their running game and Collins potentially missing the game. IMHO, If NE loses it won't likely be because they couldn't move the ball on Dens def, it will likely be their run def and 1 or 2 crucial phantom calls.

We shall see, hopefully we won't have the garbage calls we had in the last matchup, but color me skeptical. Everyone and I mean EVERYONE (outside of NE) wants NE to lose and for Manning to have 1 last shot at redemption. It will be a lot to overcome and ne will need to be near perfect.........

Personally I'm sooooooooo over Brady v Manning.
Not me. We'll look back at this era in 20 years and talk about how ridiculous it was that 2 top 5 QBs played each other in so many epic games.

NE - part of us pulling for Peyton is in the hope he retires after the game.

How about whenever Carson/Tom/Peyton lose they have to retire?

Seems a little early to be talking about Wilson v. Newton like that.

I'd say the Chiefs had a better season than the Broncos.
I wouldn't. KC doesn't get bonus points for having Alex Smith and Andy Reid.

The Pats, Broncos and Steelers overcame a ton of adversity, the Chiefs lost Charles which was huge, but West, Ware and Davis are more than sufficient replacements. I think the Pats Broncos and Steelers absolutely had to deal with the most adversity in the league and overcame almost all of it.

Despite the debate having been settled already, I'm very excited to see Brady vs Manning one last time.

I don't blame people for pulling for Manning, he is a great player who has been diminished by injuries late in his career. I understand why many people would like to see him go out on top, i'm just stating the obvious. 85+% of the country AND the league front office would much rather see Manning and the broncos win; so be it.

Gotta change the thread title and shorten it up a bit.

Looks like Pats started at -2.5 but some crazy betting moved it to -3.5 within 5 minutes.

Carolina at -3/-3.5 .

Going to assume that by Kickoffs, both lines are around 4.

That's maybe in 30 years. They should have another 10-15 years of football left in the barring injury. Good start though. 3/4 for Cam and 2/4 for Wilson on division titles. If they can keep winning the division, we'll get to see them battle like Brady Manning. Brady is 13/15 and Peyton was 12/17 on division titles.

Same strategy against Denver, if they can walk in their and punch them in the face on the first drive they absolutely win unless they turn the ball over all day.

Denver plays like crap from behind.

Like the last time New England played at Denver?
Did you watch that game? NE was playing it's reserves and Denver got literally every call. Still took em to overtime.

NE started a TE at tackle for part of that game...

Glad to get some new blood in the game. Both games went my way as I was dreading a SEA vs GB NFC Championship

The guy every Broncos fan was calling to come in the game today.

Ya - not sure about the reserves comment. I do remember the game being officiated terribly and usually in favor of the Horsies.

Either way, who cares. It's a  kinda weekend

holy crap. Patriot fans are the biggest whiners in the world. They're like a collective group of muddle a hook girls.

So Pats are a lock you say. Ya'll seem skeered if you ask me.

I think it's one of the better Championship Sundays I can remember in my lifetime...

I'm not interested in the psychopathic, sycophantic typical Shark Pool stuff. Can you guys take the baby stuff to the other major threads where this kid stuff goes on? Or is any thread in the SP that even mentions the Patriots or Packers or Peyton bound to contain this ####### childish ####? Jesus christ, some of you guys are such ####### babies. It's like every youtube troll commentator is a moth and any thread mentioning anything good in the nfl is a flame.

No matter who wins this year it will be a great story:

Brady - most Super Bowl wins

Peyton - overcomes a lousy year and injury to win his 2nd SB before retiring

Palmer - achieves that greatness he was headed toward before being injured and wins Arizona its first Super Bowl

Cam - along with Wilson he'll represent a changing of the guard at QB

Under truth serum, I'd have to say this is what I'd most like to see. Brady got his career sunset title last year. Let Peyton get his and let's send these 2 dudes off into Canton.

go Broncos?!

That's just the QB.

Fitz is almost a bigger story than Palmer. More fans anyway.

18-1, done the right way.

Denver, increasing their record for most SB losses.

Demarcus ware getting a ring.

lol - very true.

I'm too loquacious and open to ideas on that. Couldn't figure a more precise way to state the overall take here.

I don't think so - surprised they didn't make more out of Wilson/Cam given how beaten to death the Manning/Brady rivalry is...

Unless there is a strange twist and it's Osweiler.

Already getting a lot of action for the Broncos +3

The same people who took the Chiefs +3.5

If season means weeks 6-18, sure.
The Broncos QB situation is a total disaster and has been all year. I don't care that they won HFA. The Patriots will eat them alive with Manning throwing those weak ducks all game. Brock is gonna have to come in to have a chance.
