Bragging, venting, crowing, grieving. (2 Viewers)

I don't care who I have to start as long as I get points. See: Deangelo Williams.
I started DWill first two games as well. But rental 3 down back are a very rare commodity. There are probably 30-40 WRs you can plug in for inconsistent points. While you roster burn for veterans with no upside I'll hold onto guys who can win games for me down the road.
Yeah, you're right. Picking a guy up off waivers who scores you 20+ is a terrible. I should have stuck a young guy with upside in there instead. I'm a terrible owner.

No- what makes you terrible is gloating about getting lucky with a waiver add.

skillz, bruh. fantasy savant.

BTW in one league where I'm scrambling, I started Lockett week 1 and Karlos Williams week 2.

I got good production and still have promising players on my bench.

:: pats self on back ::

I left Randle on the bench due to uncertainty around Weeden and assuming ATL running D was decent + they'd stack the box.

At least I can drop CMike now?

Me too for Matt Jones on Thursday night. I wish I never did that, at this point I would have been so far in front of the opponent that it would have taken a Herculean effort to lose. Now, I could easily see if being a close game and if I lose, it will be that call. Every single forecast I saw had Jones higher and he looked good to start but they barely ran and that damn fumble instead of a TD.

What makes it worse is that I started Dunbar in another league and he of course gets tackled at the 1 after a 22 yard reception setting up the 1 yard TD by Randle. That was a decent start, but some weeks the FF gods are against you.

Oh well, hopefully the second halves are better.

Crowell stopped multiple times on the goal line. :wall:

Apparently Heath Miller is out there for PITT for one sole reason, thats to draw PI penalties inside the 5.

I have seen 7-8 flags on him combined. (several plays)

On that note- I have heard this phrase more this year than ever. "There are three flags on the play".

Borderline unwatchable.

TZM

Facing Julio Jones & AJ Green today. 85 PPR points. F my life.

Even had a good day, making a bold call this morning to start both Dion Lewis and Legarrette Blount.

Welp.

Yay Julio!!! Yay Latavius!!

Boo me...started John Brown (w/ Cards up 14-0 in 1st quarter thanks to 2 DST scores), leaving Steve Smith on the bench. FMMFL :bag:

My WRs are bailing me out, but my RB situation is not what I thought it was. I traded away Gore and Latavius Murray because I had Hill and Miller. That may bite me in the butt pretty badly in the next few weeks.

Losing and losing big in all my leagues. In my money league, I decided to bench Frank Gore for Alfred Morris since Gore did squat the first couple weeks. WHAT A GREAT IDEA. My bench is outscoring my starters by 30 points - and that's with two guys on the bench who are out.

Oh, and I have Big Ben as my QB in all leagues. :ptts:

Lost Romo, kicking myself for buying into the Foles hype! Not sure it would have mattered going up against Randle and Freeman, but still.

I'm having a truly horrific season so far. After losing to an autodrafted team last week that was propped up by D-Will and Doug Baldwin, this week I lose to a team starting Sproles, Boldin, Brandon Coleman and Chris Johnson. I'm 0-3 and I need Dez back in the worst way.

Just ####in lost on that last Manning pass. And that was almost certainly his last pass no matter what happened.

Son of a #####

Picked up Freeman in free agency on 4 of my teams, started him on 3 (3 wins).

Benched Greg Oleson for Eiffert on a 4th team. Also picked up Freeman on that team, but let him ride the pine and started CJ Anderson and Doug Martin ahead of him (1 ugly, embarrassing loss).

Not sure if this is a brag or a vent. In one league i am 2-0 with the high score both weeks. This week I'm down 17 pts to the high score and i only have kelce left and my kicker scored 0. So im gonna either lose to the high score because of a kicker or im a big kelce game away from 3-0 and the high score all 3 weeks.

Started 0-2 due to injuries to my QB and WR1, this week looking to get back on track and when Murray is listed as OUT, my opponent puts in Freeman for him. Dude absolutely blows up and now I am looking down the barrel of 0-3. On the bright side less time will need to be spent on fielding a competitive team via waivers, this team is COOKED.

I started LaGarrette Blount with hesitation yesterday due to his Week 2 showing of 2 carries for 4 yards but rolled him out there anyways. I caught flak for it from my league mates until he blew up for 21pts. I love it when the Fantasy Gods don't crap down my back.

Went up against AP and Randle, but Julio, ODB and Smith Sr got me the W. My WR's are bailing me out weekly because my RB's are utterly awful.

Started Eifert instead of Olsen, oops.

Started Rivers at my superflex instead of Dalton, another oops.

#1QB Big Ben goes down.....damn.

But Devonta Freeman comes and saves the day!

Another league, I am getting AJ Green-ed. Dude always explodes when I am playing against him.

Thanks to Big Ben getting injured and CJ Anderson sucking again, I need 29 from Cobb and GB Defense to win.

Started Forsett over Randle. Now I get to sweat my 23 pt lead against Rodgers in a 6 pt passing TD league. Here's hoping for a big Lacy night

dude in my league put up 200 points. this is a 14-teamer too. luckily I did not face him
Put up over 200 for the first time it was ever done in this league. I'm ahead of the 2nd highest scoring team by 53 and that team had both Green and Freeman. Luck had 20, Gore 21, Dunbar 23, OBJ 20, Hopkins 27, Smith Sr 46, Reed 15, Hauschka 16 and Seattle 23. Smith went crazy, but the rest of the team just had solid days, not one bad performance. Love this team. I have Foster on the bench awaiting his first action and Jordan Matthews (started Smith over him) as well among some other decent bye week fillers. If Luck actually starts picking things up a bit, going to be hard team to beat.

My other two teams are decent. I need Randall Cobb to have 17 or less to be 5-1, although my 2-0 team got thrashed this week since I started Matt Jones over Randle and the Pats over Arizona and lost Big Ben. Even if I put the right guys in, wouldn't have mattered, opponent had a huge week.

Here's sort of a venting. My 4-1 team that could be 5-1 put up a nice 149 points. I am the high so far, but it looks like I will have played the only two teams that had a chance to beat me. One finished at 147, so I won that, but Cobb could beat me with a better than good game. Only one other team of the other 9 is even in the ball part. Sucks when you play 2 teams to even out the old score the second most points and lose week and I played what are likely the #2/#3 or #1/#3 teams. At least those teams also got the team with the least points (71) this week. I never seem to get that "easy" schedule. When I do get the easy game, I usually win by a gigantic margin and would have beaten anyone.

The "start Steve Smith or John Brown" decision is gonna burn me all year. Thus far I am 0-3 (making that decision) in the only league in which I own both.

Put up over 300 points this week. Unfortunately, my opponent put up 330 points. Now I need Kelce to score 24+ tonight to win. :kicksrock:

My opponent in my money league had 2 starters with zero points and her defense had -4 points.

And I am going to lose to her this week.

Thanks a LOT Julio Jones, Randall Cobb and Jamaal Charles! :bag:

Traded for Gronk. 3 weeks of Tight End Carousel was enough for me.

Well technically I guess I've got to do it one more week now.

Calvin Johnson, James Jones, Eric Ebron for Rob Gronkowski, Michael Crabtree, Jonathan Stewart.
