Brandon Jackson (1 Viewer)

I've been away for awhile and haven't been able to keep up with NFL news. Rookie draft has started and I'm stuck at 1:05 which I hate. And while I've tried there has been no value out there in trading down. Jackson and Russell are available at 1:05. This is a start up league with 3 separate, but simultaneous drafts (Rook, Off, D).

I heard that Jackson was hurt and I will assume that Morency is still ahead of him. I know that he is still ranked pretty high on the FBG rookie list, but I'm having a hard time believing it. Do you think that Jackson will be GB's starter on day one? I'm not crazy about either guy but this pick will determine how early I pick a 2nd QB or 1st WR later in the Offensive draft. I'll be picking two RBs in the first two rounds of the O draft.

Thanks

I think Morency starts day one with Jackson/Herron sprinkled in as time goes on. Jackson will eventually get a look as the starter. Not much different than the TN RB situation.

Redraft: I'd probably risk taking Jackson. (Morency did have fumble problems last year.) If I could lock up my RB3 situation with Morency/Jackson, I'd look into it. I personally wouldn't draft any of them before Round 8. If they're gone by then, I'm not losing sleep over it. Likely a committee in the end.

Dynasty: In both situations (GB+TN), I can see them drafting a RB Round 1 or getting a RB in free agency in 2008. No large financial committments to any of the current backs.

Jackson is the pick, especially since Brown returned to Tennessee. I was considering Henry at 1.05 until that happened as I feel White is a total loser.

Jackson isn't hurt. He fully participated in the last two OTAs.
