Old article that caught my attention a few days ago...

I play in a Dynasty/ Salary Cap/ Auction League where I bid $126 out of $1000 for Jacobs.
At the time I was planning on him being my RB2... I got Ward off waivers for $5.
I'd love to cut Jacobs and run with Ward but I am not sure whats going to happen there.
I am guessing others have the same problem with deciding who will get the carries etc.
Let's keep this about the Giants as a team and what they will do with Jacobs and Ward and not about my team since this is not the coach forum.

I was impressed by Ward for the past 2 weeks. So where does the whole situation go in a week or 2 when Jacobs is healthy? Will it be split 50/50 or will one of them get primary carries? Does anyone see a Tiki/Jacobs type of relationship where Jacobs goes back to short yardage and goal line? <_< This impacts me becuase...At New York Giants practice today, injured RB Brandon Jacobs was walking without a limp or a wrap on his right knee and swore he'd be running by next week. "It sure won't be five weeks," he said of the time he'll miss. DE Osi Umenyiora didn't rule himself out for Sunday, but said he absolutely necessarily need to practice before he can play. Russell Warren, the Giants' team doctor, will check out Umenyiora tomorrow; that leaves only Friday for him to possibly practice.
