Brandon Jones dynasty owners (1 Viewer)

I have him in alot of my dynastys and thought he would be a nice wr in tennessee for years to come but now with Givens, Bennett, Roydell Williams, C.Roby, J.Orr there now with a new qb in the future is it still time to HOLD on him in dynasty leagues with under than 20-25 man rosters...?

I really hate to let him go...but might not have the room to hold him. :bye:

Is it time to cut ship?
Or is it time to abandon bait? ;)
Me?I'd cut Shipp and abandon Brandon.

To be serious, FBG has him at 64 in their WR dynasty consensus rankings (low 51, high 75), but with 27 year old Bennett and 25 year old Givens, plus Roby and Williams being close to his ability level before the ACL, I'd probably go elsewhere for now. I'm sure he'll be available fairly cheaply at the end of the season if you still want him, and it won't mean burning a roster spot on him all of 2006.

I have him in 2 dynasty leagues. I am going to hold onto him unless I need the roster space(22 man roster and 20 man roster)

Who is the fastest reciever in Tenn? Whoever that guy is will get the most balls thrown at him over the course of Vince's first 3 years. Gaurantee it.

Hold on to Brandon Jones...From a homer

Bennett will be gone maybe next year and Brandon Jones and Vince Young will get plenty of practice time together. Brandon might start the year on the PUP but he and Vince will likely be practicing together while Brandon gets to 100%. The rest of the rookies and Givens/Bennett will be getting reps from Volek or McNair. Brandon showed some flashes next year and I'm not totally sold on the other sophmore wrs or ORR . Hold for this season...he may turn into a number 1. Givens IMO is not a true number 1 and Bennett is an overachiever connected at the hip to Volek. Will Volek be in TN next year? That is highly unlikely

Side question semi hijack

What about Calico, is he pretty much done?
not sure...he'll be 2 years removed from his knee injury. It will be highly unlikely that he resigns with the Titans unless he has a monster year...just too many young guys with potential. I don't think he has the opportunity this year to post even respectable numbers in TN with Givens, Bennett , and the 3 soph wrs there. I would drop him

It depends on the league and how much roster space you have. 25 roster spaces seems tricky to me and I have no experience with that number. But if you have enough room for a 'stash and wait' player, Brandon Jones is a great guy to keep. Tennessee is loaded at WR. All those guys aren't going to want to stay there because of that. In the end I seee Jones having a chance to start for someone.

Replying to myself, because I like me so much. :D After reading BROTHA's initial post again, I think if we're talking 12-team leagues with rosters that are 20 deep (240 total) I'll stand by my reply. That's the league size I was imagining when I answered. But, if we're talking about leagues that are 300 deep (more teams and/or larger rosters), yeah, I'd hold him. The alternatives are going to be sleepers and projects anyway.

If you have the room, hold him. He's not similar to Roby, Williams and Orr; he's better than all three of them.

And neither Bennett nor Givens is a true #1.

He showed potential last year before his injury. Stash him. You could do worse.

I;m torn beteen Brandon Jones

or Darius Watts.

Since I'm a Drew Bennett owner,

I think Brandon Jones may be the keeper here.
