Brandon Marshall Re-Instated? (1 Viewer)

Not surprising as final cuts were made and pre-season is over. The Broncos said that this is what was going to happen

Encouraging to hear he was catching passes, but did McIdiot have him doing it on the scout team again?

Hopefully he's been humbled enough, or at least scared of losing his paycheck enough, to be on his best behavior.

I feel for those (myself included) that was banking on the Cutler-Marshall tandem for the next 5-10 years. How things went downhill in the last 6 months.

That being said, Marshall is a steal in dynasty leagues right now that you can get him as a WR3 or 4. Factor in all the knucklehead all you want with that upside and lesser pick to acquire. Has as much upside as anyone outside of Calvin/Fitz IMO

Well I hope he straightens up. I drafted him in my 10 team auction league only because I was really thin at WR and he was a steal at $4. ($100 salary cap to field 16 players).

You can't feel too bad for yourself given that Cutler is now playing for your team. ;)

Yeah, I'm stoked about that. I hope we find him a legit #1 WR in the near future [perhaps to reunite the duo!]

What are the chances he plays and actually contributes in Week 1? If he improves their chances of winning, will the coach play him considering how much a win would help ease the pressure on Orton and Coach McDaniels? How much of an impact can he make after being so far removed from the 1st team offense this summer (how important is that?). I suspect it is too early to adequately tackle these questions and we will learn more from reports of Broncos practices this week, but if anyone wants to speculate I am willing to listen.

What exactly does it mean that he hasn't been allowed to learn the playbook (until today I am assuming?)

Brandon do a button hook

Brandon do a fly route

Brandon do a post pattern

Brandon do a stop and go

Brandon just block on this play

Look at the center, when the ball is snapped go!!!!!!

If he is starting week 1, I will start him as my #3 WR for sure, in the leagues where I only have to start 2 Wrs, then I will probably keep him on the bench.

That's what I was thinking but I've ever played wide receiver so I have no idea if it's more complicated than just getting open and being where the QB expects you to be.

[orton]Brandon we're going 4-12, do what you want...

Neither of us is going to be here next year anyway.[orton]

I traded away Marshall last week. Probably would have got more today, but I still think Marshall is not going to be worth much this year. Suspension, injury, not familiar with playbook, ... not sure what it will be but the vibe is bad.

I think I'm taking him off my draft list for big money draft on Tuesday.

I had a feeling he was going to end up at Minny with Favre and this would be good for them both.

i am truly shocked that the broncos re-instated their best player prior to the opening game.

Orton's ball won't get there fast enough to make up for Marshall's lack of foot speed. Everything will need to be around the line of scrimmage or go up and get it kind of junk. All the timing, run and stop kind of stuff is gone.

There's a reason they considered converting Marshall to a Tight End when he entered the league.

as long as Orton doesn't force it to Marshall despite double coverage, he'll be fine.

They didnt bring him back and not trade him to just sit him on the bench!

Plus for what its worth after the O'Connell trade to New York, K. Rhodes has been all up on his twiiter hinting towards a Marshall trade, without exacts!

Marshall has tons of incentive to want to do good now that he lost his battle with the Front Office, he wants money next year, he has to play well!

And if traded, well that will remain to be seen!

I drafted him, I'm playin him in the 2 leagues I have him in....plus just traded for him in one on the cheap!

Brees, LT, BMarsh for Warner, SJax, TGonzo...just wanted to brag about my steal!

Take advantage of anyone not high on Marshall!

And the reason they didnt is because he is toooooo good of a WR!
Gosh, I hate when people talk out there rear!I'm sorry, how do u know he has no foot speed, did u measure him for shoes when u working at payless this past week!

Dude caught 100 passes this past year...oh and the year before that for a reason....hes a stud!, and before you say they had a different QB...they will be throwing plenty this year, trust me!

He will get his more then fair share of recepts!

Projected....80/1150/8, hes gotta lot to play for!
