McGowan out for the season

Brandon McGowan, who was demoted from strong safety to nickel back right before the season, will miss the remainder of the year. He will have surgery on his left ankle.

This presents a good opportunity for Payne, as he was seeing most of the time at SS anyhow, but won't have to worry about McGowan taking some of his snaps.
