I hate how they have shaped the rules but that said Merriweather is one of the worst in the league, a punk of biblical proportions that needed at least a 2 game suspension, 4 would not have bothered me a bit.

Legality is great...but when they are pushing all this player safety stuff and facing lawsuits about it...I think it would send a bigger message if a repeat offender like this got hit with more than 2 games.

As a Skins fan, when he hits an opponent in the head and the opponent is hurt, I find myself wishing Merriweather had hurt himself instead.
