Consider me unimpressed with the guy to begin with. PS guy at best. Then again, who really needs an immature Rb on the PS?

He wasn't going to be a major draft prospect anyway. Maybe he declares for the Supplemental but I can't see a team using much more than a VERY late round pick on him; but far more likely he'll sign somewhere as a street free agent.

Not much of a surprise honestly. He had issues his first two seasons at VT. Most of them stemming from immaturity and poor work ethic. I really didn't see him as much of a pro prospect anyway. It was a nice story last year that a troubled player, finally got his head on straight and got focused on being a big part of the team. Not a Hokie fan, but I hate to hear it turned out poorly.

It's disappointing to see a young kid not be able keep his head in the right place, but Tech fans (this one included) won't be sad to see him go. Most fans were calling for Kenny Lewis to get more PT last year anyway and Lewis is generally considered (again, by the fans) to be the better runner. It also clears the RB crowd a little for Ryan Williams to start making an impact.

If anything, I'd call this a positive for Tech because it removes a replaceable player from the locker room who has shown a propensity to have off field problems and a poor work ethic.
