Brandon Webb (1 Viewer)

Nah, although another great month coupled with a Peavy implosion should make it close...with that said I love watching the guy pitch.

I know he plays in the NL West, but with today's offenses and ballparks and juiced balls/players, this is a truly remarkable feat.

Wasn't Hershiser's tainted in some way?

How so? I thought I read that he didnt want to break Drysdales record because he respected him so much. That wouldnt taint the record though.

I think there was a questionable call of an error during one of the final few innings. It may have been against the Giants.A run scored and it went as unearned as a result.

Webb looks to extend the streak tonight. I have a job interview and I may miss the beginning  Depending how the interview is going maybe I will ask them if they want to move it to the local pub and continue over beer. :banned:

I remember it going higher actually. He continued it into the playoffs, which was not counted toward the record. Right?
