Braylon owners have to be encouraged... (1 Viewer)

Well, it looks like Mr. Quinn can throw downfield, and OC Chudzinsky is not afraid to mix it up. Sure, Braylon will have his share of drops, but looks to be a prime target all over the field, including the redzone. He's in my lineup from here on out (benched him today until they showed me something). The clincher was the Browns not choking away another potential win in the 4th quarter, so there clubhouse will remain intact for at least 1 more week.

The drops are maddening, but if it makes anyone feel better, the top 4 in the NFL for dropped passes are Braylon, Brandon, Bowe and Megatron.

I guess if nothing else, Edwards owners feel a whole lot better tonight than Lee Evans owners.

He's definitely going to be a big part of the offense. Its pretty clear that he has confidence issues though. He left a lot of catchable balls on the turf tonight, including several that went right through his hands. The elite receivers make those catches.

Braylon is like a young Muhsin Muhammad. Good player, but his inconsistency will rear its ugly head from time to time.

He seems to play well at home. Not including last week's game because he wasn't really part of the game plan for Quinn. I think he's a solid start at home vs Houston.

His "drop" last night was due to a jarring hit. His drops earlier in the year have been downright ugly, and as previously mentioned, I think it has all to do with confidence issues. He has had the dropsies since college, but has been able to get over them as the season drew on.

The one late in the game last night went right through his hands and hit him in the facemask. Have to admit I got a chuckle out of that.

Agreed. That one was pathetic. This may be a honda, but, I recently saw him endorse that 5-hour energy drink. I for one will NEVER try it now. I'm afraid I'd get to work and drop my mouse, have my cell phone hit the ground or drop a pen during a note-taking session. The company did NOT do its research before signing this guy on.

LOL that I have both Marshall and Edwards, #1 and #2 in drops. That being said, I'll take my chances with big receivers who can create their own separation and at least get opps. He made several good catches too, but the one that hit him in the face mask was comical. I don't care if a guy gets hit - if you drop it before the hit it's on you.

From living in Cleveland. Watching Braylon last night just names me want to :P He has just been straight horrible

He used to do the same thing at Michigan and anyone who says different is kidding themselves. I watched every one of his games at UM and he would constantly drop the easy ones, and then make a one handed over 2 defenders in the end zone catch and leave the viewer just shaking his head and saying "HOW"

It's gotta be a concentration thing, I dont know. I just can't see how a guy so talented can have such prolonged cases of the dropsies and then make some circus catches.

In any event, 16 targets last night bode well for the future for Braylon. I really think that he's still got another double digit TD season in his future, maybe even next year.
