Looking to go around Jan 5 for 4 days.  Where should I stay in Breckenridge ($500 per night)?  Is it a good time to go?  Looking to snowboard.

at 5 bills a night, you should have plenty of options.  they should be getting/have gotten some snow.  so conditions should be pretty good.

39 inch base, with not a ton more forecast in the next week. Any chance you can go a bit down the road to Vail?
that's it?  mammoth is sitting on 128" since 12/9.  and it's still nuking!!  another 2 feet are expected tonight/tomorrow.  they closed the friggen road today, due to blizzard conditions

Yeah, the Rockies haven’t had much snow yet. That better change before I go to Vail, Telluride and Park City in Feb.

i'm in park city the 1st week of feb.
Shoot, I’ll be there the third week of the month.

Which areas/runs do you like in Park City? There are some decent, but short steep areas in Jupiter Bowl and McConkeys on the Park City side, and I like Condor Woods and Canis Lupus in The Canyons.
