Breeders Cup 2016 (1 Viewer)

So the wife and I are into horse racing. We go to Arlington in Chicago and Keeneland twice a year for our vacations and rent tables for the day. The Terrace Club at Arlington and the Equestrian Room at Keeneland are our go to's. Last year for the Breeders Cup we were priced out of our seats in the Equestrian Room at Keeneland so we went out to Vegas and spent the two days at a sports book watching and betting on the races. This year the races are at Santa Anita. We ain't going. BUT, we would like to visit a race track and/or casino that offers reserved restaurant seating for that day with either simulcast or sports book opportunities. I told the wife that FBG's are spread throughout the continental US and could offer us some ideas for that weekend.

We live in Michigan and can either drive (within a day) or fly ( whatever) to our destination. It might be too early for locales to post their breeders cup schedule but I'm hoping that maybe some of you have visited various venues for past BC's and could give us a heads up.

Fire up the Twin Spires app and head over to Green Dot Stables for Sliders

sorry that's all I've got...I know there's a horsey casino in Indiana (name escapes me...maybe Indiana Downs) that may have what you're looking for that's within reasonable driving distance

we have the twin spires and tvg apps. Some States, Nevada for one, dont allow us to use them. But we're looking for closer to the action type things..The Breeders Cup isnt till Nov 4th and 5th. Some tracks hold special events for these days and that's kind of what we're looking for.

Why not Santa Anita? Getting in Friday is cheap.  Experience it, then get a table at one of the OTB's on Saturday.  Ventura has one.  Not sure if Los Alamitos will be having a party that day or not. Del Mar has a great OTB.....You could go to SA on Friday, drive down to San Diego after the races, do OTB at Del Mar then hang in the city before flying home. Sounds like a great weekend to me.

Come on down to Hoosier Park racetrack and casino in Anderson, IN. Enjoy live racing on top of BC action for just a 3-4 hour drive.

See ya in November!

yeah, why not hit santa anita if it hasn't burned down by then.  Monrovia is near Pasadena, maybe grab a CFB game and hit L.A.?  I would also throw out the Meadowlands in NJ.  You could side trip to NY or Atlantic City.
