He had a nice playoff, but were those just based on matchups, and defenders not respecting him? Look at his regular season stats - nothing impressive at all.I also have him as a backup and I will hold him to see if he start the season where he left off in the playoffs last year.3 playoff games :19 rec.151 yds.3 TDs
I don't think these numbers can be dismissed so easily when they were against the best teams in the NFC with everything on the line. I am not touting him as a #1 TE, but I am holding him as a #2 / 2a, just to see if he can continue this level of production. He had a nice playoff, but were those just based on matchups, and defenders not respecting him? where did u read that at? everything i've seen says ingram has been better than expected, but celek is entrenched as the starterI've been reading reports that Ingram is pushing Celek... Also, I seem several mentions on twitter feeds from camp watchers, etc of Celek dropping passes or not being in sync with QB's... The TE starter with the Eagles- if plays full time- will have oppurtunities though
No readings or nothing....been hearing it on the local sports radio. At any rate, it's still something to keep an eye on.where did u read that at? everything i've seen says ingram has been better than expected, but celek is entrenched as the starterI've been reading reports that Ingram is pushing Celek... Where did you hear the Eagles are still shopping for TE's? And if this is true, is this a reflection on Celek or because of Ingrim's injury?Cornelius Ingram missing practice to get an MRI on his previously injured and Eagles reportedly shopping for TEs.
If Philly lost Ingram, they would need another TE...Schobel is barely NFL roster worthy at this point in his career, and they have nobody else.In that scenario, Celek immediately becomes a solid backup with tremendous upside.Cornelius Ingram missing practice to get an MRI on his previously injured and Eagles reportedly shopping for TEs.
I think you can scratch that last bit now. With no Ingram, he's a solid #2 or even a very cheap #1 if you wanna load up at other spots in your draft.renesauz said:Love the guy, but I think caution is warrented. Ingram has been outstanding in camp, and has significantly better speed/agility. Celek will probably start and he has the offense down pat, but Ingram will eat into his time...a lot if Ingram is getting the O down. Celek is fool's gold in dynasty right now.In redraft, he makes an intriguing #2, but I wouldn't grab him if I had a high risk #1 TE.
He is expected back in a couple days.Looks like Celek has a separated shoulder. Has anyone heard how long he will be sidelined ?

And 23 of them came with Kolb at QB. Don't be surprised if his targets, catches & total yards mysteriously decrease when McNabb returns as QB.drew726 said:27 targets through 3 games. The guy is a stud.
Look at Week 1 and the playoffs last year and you will get your answer.... roll with Celek at TE to the playoffs! And 23 of them came with Kolb at QB. You saw the trade that went down in HA1. I traded Eli for Orton and Celek two weeks ago. What kind of value are you guys seeing in Celek from a dynasty standpoint? Are you looking to buy him? Sell him? If you owned him, what type of WR would you be looking for in return? What would you be willing to pay for him? Just looking to gauge value on him.
