Brett Favre in Week 15 (1 Viewer)

Favre had a very nice week 3 against the Lions throwing for 340 and 3 TDs, IIRC. This week Favre plays against the Lions in Green Bay. Can we expect more of the same?

Ahman had a nice game then too. Assuming weather cooperates, I think 250 yards and 2 tds is very reasonable and on the low side.

23-31, 288 yards, 2tds, 0 ints

This could be problematic:

The Packers didn't return from San Francisco as a team.

Receiver Ruvell Martin (chest bruise) was left behind as a precautionary measure.

Also injured were receivers Donald Driver (shoulder) and Greg Jennings (ankle), leaving only one healthy wideout, Carlyle Holiday, on the roster.

Bigby (hamstring) and Woodson (shoulder) also were hurt.

Driver, Jennings and Woodson were all hurt before halftime, but all three played in the second half.

"We had Donald, Greg and Charles in (the training room) at halftime. It was a process of maybe losing all three of those guys," McCarthy said. "I think it speaks volumes of all three of those guys returning because they had significant injuries in the game."

McCarthy said he hoped right tackle Mark Tauscher (groin) might be able to play this week.

Not to mention Green Bay's crappy performances all season long at Lambeau. I'm not optimistic. Then again, I wasn't optimistic heading into San Francisco either. I guess that's what you get with a young team. Hard to predict.

You'll need every point you can scrape up Sandeman! :bye:

Favre has been tough to peg all year long. I keep going back and forth between Favre and Romo for my playoff matchup this weekend.

Agreed... it's feast or famine with him..(and I have to choose between him and Vick!)... If his wr's are healthy , he should put up 250 yards and 2 tds!

Update: Driver injured his shoulder during Sunday's game and may miss practice this week, but should still play against Detroit this Sunday, according to the Milwaukee Journal Sentinel.

Recommendation: Driver was treated at halftime, but still returned and finished the game with the injury. He should be fine to play this weekend.

Driver will be fine.

Favre is a competitor and will be playing for pride at this point. I can see him lighting up Detroit in Lambeau this week....

Last two home games were disasters. Time for some jump into the stands stuff. The only fly in the ointment is that the Pack spanks the Lions and do not need to pass as much.

Also, now that Kevin Jones is out, and the Lions pretty much suck, have they quit?

Unlike the Lions, the Packers seem to actually care about their fans and want to give them something to cheer about even in a bad year (or 3).

I'd like Favre better if he were in Detroit, but I like him better than Rivers against the Chiefs at home, which is my other choice.

250 with 2 TD's sounds about right.

Same choice here.. and i like Favre better too.I'm not worried that Detroit might not put up enough points to force the Pack to throw... in fact... if they are up by 14 and on the goalline i think they'll pass... Favre only needs 8 TDs for the record and he has 3 games to do it in. With the Bears on tap for week 17, i expect Favre to have 3+ TDs in the next two games.

*Although there might be some sort of bad-record-karma that prevents him from getting 421 as he just handed Strahan his record breaking sack.

Rivers on the other hand (who is going to become my favorite QB when Favre retires) has his defense and LT playing so well, he probably won't be called upon to do much vs KC.

I wonder how many trips to the fantasy super bowls Favre costs owners this week against the Lions?

174 yards, 0 TD's, 3 INT's.

He cost me at least two and possibly three league championship game appearances this week. I was certain he would carve up the Lions. :moneybag:
