I have a feeling this is going to be more than a standard thing. I dont believe he is retiring right now but there is something more to this.

Just out of curiousity (i do not mean this in a wise-guy way), but why do you think this will be different than any other of his Wednesday press conferences?

Because the team is down to nothing.

I am expecting one announcement real soon - announcing the Brett Favre Farewell Tour.

Maybe its just a huntch but I think its today.

Why would a Packer fan start a thread like this? Don't you realize he has had weekly press conferences on Wed. during the season and has for years?

Brett is immortal and will play for the Packers until the earth gets hit with a giant space rock.

We're posting FEELINGS now in the Pool? #### people get enough crap for posting RUMORS, and now we're going to start posting FEELINGS?

Much ado about nothing...yet again.

Talked about KRob being alienated by the NFL, the other recievers having to step up, being 1-4, not overlooking Miami blah blah blah blah blah

Do not expect some groundbreaking announcement from Favre during the Wed press conferences.

Move along, nothing to see here

I love these threads..

You get everything from "He is Retiring" to "You are a tool"

Add in about 30,000  and there you have it.

BREAKING NEWS!!!!

Spectrum Brands Inc. is adding more star power to its marketing team.

The company's Remington subsidiary has hired supermodel Cindy Crawford as its spokesperson.

Crawford will appear in a new TV commercial and new print ads for several of Remington's grooming and hairstyling products set to hit the market this fall. The new Remington products include hair-protecting Teflon Fiber Ceramic Straightener and Curling Iron and the new MicroFlex series of men's rotary shavers featuring a new level of comfort made possible in large part by Titanium-coated blades and collaborative design with BMW Designworks. The new Remington ads featuring Crawford will premiere at a Nov. 13 event at ABC Studios in New York's Times Square. She also will be featured in other marketing communications, including online advertising, retail displays, sales materials and on the company's Web site for the remainder of 2006 and into 2007.

In August, Atlanta-based Spectrum Brands (NYSE: SPC) hired Green Bay Packers star quarterback Brett Favre as the pitchman for its Rayovac Batteries' "Power Challenge" ad campaign.
Brett will be working with Cindy Crawford!!!!!

He's obviously a Favre hater and a tool.
Pathetic.
If you insist. Pathetic Favre hater and a tool.
 I didn't refer to anyone in this thread as a Favre hater or a tool. The usual Favre haters here have been relatively quiet so far this season.

Ya figure more than maybe?you have absolutely no basis to suspect anything other than his regular weekly news conference.

And, after reading the last few comments, I am guessing this has run its course as a useful thread.
