Some good, some bad. I listed the first five that came to mind and although I am sure I forgot a few truly memorable ones, lets go with it, anyway.

I voted the sack give up. People always say what a warrior..class player...etc.. he is. Well, lying down like a little girl to give up something to someone who didnt earn it is none of those things. :boxing:

That time when he came back after the worst season of his career, when every one said he should retire and led his team to the playoffs and a division championship........ oh wait that will be next year. I love the guy. I hope he comes back.

I voted for the MNF game against Oakland. Here are some others:After having 30 inches of his small intestine removed after a July 1990, automobile accident, Favre leads Southern Miss to a come-from-behind upset over Alabama on Sept. 8, 1990. In his first game after being called on in relief in the fourth quarter Favre throws a 35-yard touchdown strike to Kitrick Taylor with 13 seconds left as the Packers overcome the Cincinnati Bengals, 24-23. Sept. 20, 1992December 18, 1994, when Brett’s bootleg run for a TD gave the Packers a last-play, 21-17 victory over the Falcons during the last Packer game ever to be played at County Stadium. I was at that game!Nov. 12th 1995 Favre throws 5 Tds and 336 yards against the Bears on a grotesquely colored ankle that was severely sprained the week before against Minnesota. The beat the Bears 35-28.Jan. 1, 1996 Favre wins the first of three MVPs. The only player to be a three time MVP.Brett Favre throws a 23-yard touchdown pass to Corey Bradford on fourth down with only 12 seconds left in the game as the Packers overcome the Minnesota Vikings, 23-20, in a classic, hard-fought battle between division rivals. Sept. 26, 1999Brett Favre shreds one of the one great defenses of all time, completing 27 of 34 passes for 337 yards, as the Packers stun the defending Super Bowl champion Baltimore Ravens, 31-23. Oct. 14, 2001The 43-yard game-winning pass to Antonio Freeman on Nov. 6, 2000, in overtime against the Minnesota Vikings in a Monday night game at rain-soaked Lambeau Field. Favre lobbed the ball toward the right sideline, where Freeman was being covered by Vikings cornerback Chris Dishman, who tipped the pass off his right hand and then his left arm. Freeman, sliding on the muddy turf, somehow caught the ball after it first bounced off his shoulder and face mask. With the Vikings defenders and almost everyone else in the stadium thinking the play was over, Freeman alertly jumped to his feet and ran to the end zone.

This game was sweet to watch. An unbelievable game... wish I had it on tape or something. I voted the pass to Sharpe. The game was in Detroit and Sharpe was wide open a good 40 yards cross field in the endzone. The picture of Sharpe with beer cups coming down on him with him just standing there was great. The things to come after that are nice but the first great memory was that one. What a Favre/Sharpe combo could have been?

That game against Oakland after his father's death was a ton of luck. The Oakland defense was terrible and the team had given up on the season. Farve was throwing up moon balls that should never of been caught. If a defense had talent, and or cared about the game, he has an average game at best. He threw a bunch of those moon balls in the playoffs that year and the Eagles made him pay. That performance against Oakland is sooooooo overrated!

Prove me wrong instead of writing one sentence that really isn't that funny. I remember that game very well for personal reasons. And the performance is seriously overrated.

"He did WHAT!?"This would get my vote - but partially because Al Michaels added the perfect commentary to it. A phrase that could apply to so many Brett Favre moments.

Again you have nothing of importance to say. Don't get me wrong I think Favre is great and have enjoyed watching him play. But that game was not that impressive. I will give you it must haave been hard to play so closely after his death. But Favre played the game to help him forget about his loss for a few hours. But the balls he was throwing that night were not very pretty and a real defense would have made him pay for many of them. So stop with the insults and prove me wrong.

Prove you wrong...all you have to do is read or watch anyone that covers the NFL and they have stated that Favre's performance that night was one of the most memorable moments in MNF history.

The stats were good and his father had just passed that is why it is memorable. But if you remember the game it was:1. Against an awful, really awful Raiders defense.

2. The Raiders season was over and they had given up on the season.

3. Several of the long completions were under thrown (not on purpose) and the receiver made a play on the ball. They were not great throws.

4. I remember two long balls that came down like rain and the Raider defenders made no real play for the ball. Even though they were there to make a play, if they were giving any type of effort. While his receivers were trying extra hard for their QB. Identical to the ball he threw in OT in the Jan 2004 playoff game against the Eagles. That was and INT against a good defense.

5. Favre stayed in the game way too long, as he always does. He was padding his stats.

So over time the performance is taking on legendary status. Why? because he put up great numbers a few days after his father passed. I remember the game like it was yesterday, and in reality HIS performance was not that great. His WR made a few nice plays that made him look good.

You think what others tell you to think and I will remember the game that I watched.

Dude you are a tool. I'm wasting my time trying to discuss something with a person who has nothing important or productive to add to the discussion. You bore me!

Dude, the mere fact he was even playing in that game is enough for me! I remember that game very well myself. He did throw up a lot of "moon" balls. However, his teammates went up and got them for him when that wasn't necessarily the norm for them at the time.Favre did what I wouldn't have been able to do that night, given the same circumstances.

And, I'm not a Packers fan. However, I do like Favre.

The 43-yard game-winning pass to Antonio Freeman on Nov. Wouldn't this be more of a 'Antonio Freeman Memorable NFL Moment' than Favre? It was a great play that will long be remembered in the Green Bay-Minnesota rivalry but I really don't associate it with one of Favre's great plays. Favre had many great NFL moments but my favorite is him running around with his helmet off after the Super Bowl touchdown pass.

Other:The Favre play I always talk about was one where I just happened to tape Primetime about 10 years ago. He was rolling to his left (tough to make a throw that way from a rightie) and threw this LASER BEAM about 60 yards to Sterling Sharpe in the left end zone for a score. I had to watch it over and over again to believe it. :excited:  Most impressive single pass I've ever seen anyone throw.

I agree. That was definitely more of a Freeman moment than a Favre one. That is why I didn't put it in the poll.

The title of the thread is Favre's most memorable moments! I simply mentioned that I associate it more with Freeman than Favre. You associate it with Favre. No big deal. We both agree it was a memorable moment in Packer history. We just associate it with different players. Why, when anybody disagrees with you, or voices an opinion of their own that doesn't correspond with your Brett Favre cheerleading do you have to throw out insults?

No, I associate it with Favre, Freeman and the Packers. I posted my memorable moments and you are the one that has to try and nitpick that it wasn't a Favre moment. So yes, I do think you are pathetic.

Because he is incapable of coming up with an intelligent response. Just do what I do now and basically ignore him.

Oh really....you never ignore me Ghost Tool!! You may want to give an intelligent response when it comes to knowing anything about Favre and the Packers.

Do you Favre haters go to class together in the morning?

While it's not the most popular thing in the world to say, I agree 100 percent. The truth is the truth and Sol D is speaking the truth. Doesn't make Favre less of a player. He's still a top 7 QB of all-time in my book.

i'm pretty sure that qualifies for the poll in question...memorable, nuff said

I could see the debate if we were talking about "best game". But really, "most memorable" is pretty silly to argue about. Although it's possible that Oaklands defense had given up - not my opinion (and yes, there's a difference between "truth" and "opinion") - but even if they had, it was quite a memorable performance just for him to have played, let alone do so well, under the circumstances. That it's some fans "most memorable"? Hey, more power to em! :banned: Hope he comes back next year and gives us a dozen more unforgettable moments.

A poll may be something worth voting on if the choices were MORE appropriate. No Disrespect to the original poster but this selection is inadequate for ANYONE who has watched Brett's entire career.

OTHERGetting in Warren Sapp's face after taking a vicious hit and popping right back up. For all his achievements, it is his toughness that makes him the most respected QB in football.

While it's not the most popular thing in the world to say, I agree 100 percent. The truth is the truth and Sol D is speaking the truth. Doesn't make Favre less of a player. He's still a top 7 QB of all-time in my book.
Thank you. And I love Favre too. One of the most fun QBs to watch in the history of the game.
