Brian Calhoun Makes it official (1 Viewer)

Calhoun is going pro. He was told he'd be a solid second round pick, but feels he can move up to the first with solid combine work. Jason Wilde just asked him what he thought about Gary Barnett trying to get him to change positions. I laughed at that one.Between now and April 29, feels he can answer questions about actual size and speed. Shooting for 205 lbs at combine. Says he's been in school four years already and is only a semester shy of graduating. If he could pick a team to play for, he said he'd love to play in Green Bay!

I don't know, I think it's a mistake. Too many RB's coming out this year. He could be a frontrunner for the Heisman next year and really improve his stock, and be a top 10 pick. That said, I don't begrudge him for coming out early. Anything can happen, including injury. I wouldn't mind seeing him in a Packer uniform.

I'm not so sure about that. There's a lot of good back hanging the NCAA, and I don't think he'd be the front runner for next season. Plus, at 200 lbs, how many more 350 carry seasons does he have left? I don't think it's a mistake for him. Realistically, I don't think the risk is worth it.

The Heisman? I am a Badger, but I gotta say that Dayne has cursed the Wisconsin RBs from getting the Heisman for at least the next 20 years.

I was hoping he'd return, but he is making a smart move by going Pro.Time to start some Jamil Walker hype!?

I, Brian Calhoun, am... nice, trustworthy, genuine, likes music, dancer, aggressive... I have used a lot of some drugs, and some, not at all. Mainly pot and beer, but a little bit of cocaine. I'm real sorry about the cocaine, but there are times when I feel like partying and staying up real late, and cocaine can really help you do that. I am not married, so my sexual history is not relevent, but if you must know, I have some babies. Mainly by black ladies. But some by white. And a China-baby. I love whales, but they have to go. So I am going to organize a whaling party that will not stop until all whales are dead. America needs another big lake. In conclusion, and in summary, you can't spell America without Brian Calhoun, and the letters "R," "E," and "A."

Is that how he really is like?

According to his coaches, he already is 205. 206 to be exact. He's shooting for 208 and a sub 4.4 at the combine.

Calhoun is listed at 5-foot-10, 194 pounds on UW’s official roster, but outgoing Badger running backs coach Brian White said in August that Calhoun actually weighed 203 pounds.

Koch reiterated that Monday.

“He thinks his stock is only going to rise in the combines because he played the bowl game at 206 (pounds),” Koch said. “People don’t realize that but he was 206 on the nose for the bowl game. He plans to be 208 for the combines. He said, ‘I was never 194, I don’t know why they listed me at that.’”

Lots of running back are coming out , but except for Bush none of them are very good.Williams and Maroney are long shots at being starters in the NFL , so he will be grouped with those guys who will go first or last i dont know.

But only one is almost a sure thing Bush.
