I'm tenatively planning to roll with him for the rest of the year over Rivers and, of course, Brady Quinn who's seen no time yet.

 
:goodposting: I've been rolling with him since he was announced as the starter (start 2 QB league). He's been a top-5 QB and has outscored most of the QBs who were taken with high draft picks. At this point my only regrets are 1, wasting a draft pick on Hasselbeck, and 2, not grabbing other WW QBs when I had the chance (Garrard, Warner, Huard).

Griese is throwing for 301 yards per game -- 2nd in the league behind Brady. :mellow:

I totally agree...I've been starting him the last few weeks based on him having better matchups, but he's moved firmly into my #1 spot regardless of matchup at this point. The reason I raised the question is that some of the FF sites are still touting him as a 'upper-end bye week replacement.'They're missing the boat.

Over Vince Young in one league.

I also started him over Roethlisberger in another league yesterday based on matchup and weather. That one didn't pay off so much, and hopefully it doesn't cost me the W.

 
I grabbed him as soon as Rex hit the bench. Started him week 6 and he really went off. He's back on my bench though. I'm going with a guy know as Peyton Manning. Now if I could just find a taker for Griese. Dorks in my league don't like to trade their depth or lack thereof.

 
I started the season with Bulger and had to trade to get Hasselbeck. I picked up Warner when Leinart went down. Since both Hasselbeck and Warner have byes this week, I picked up Griese for his matchup against DET. I will probably roll with the best matchup between the three of them every week.

Was searching for a QB after Delhomme went down. I had Grossman as my backup and got lucky when Griese became the starter.Yesterdays performance convince me. He's gotten better each week and now he's my starter for the rest of the year.
 
He is in the rotation with Garcia as #2, but just went ahead of him if both have an equally difficult matchup.

 
I grabbed him to back up Hasselbeck when Vince Young went down. Great matchup for SEA bye week (Det). Other than that, I have to look at matchups. Hasselbeck hasn't set the world on fire but he's been very consistent for me. Unlike Young, who's been a fantasy disaster.

 
I keep wanting to insert him into my starting lineup, but one of my other guys always seems to have a better matchup, i.e. Eli against Miami this week. + I keep trying to give Brees a chance to break out. At some point though, he will be useful.
