Bridgewater suffers potentially serious knee injury (1 Viewer)

oh my gosh, this sounds terrible.  not to be crass, but what the hell kind of non-contact injury would require an ambulance ride and be so shocking to all of his teammates that they had to cancel practice?  Gotta be some sort of horrible freakish break, right?
His legs are so skinny - that was one of the things scouts commented on as a negative when he was coming out...

Damn, that's too bad.

Couldn't have happened to a better person.  Teddy is one of those rare players who's likability far outshines their talent.

If they have to choose between Butt Fumbler or McCown Please let it be McCown!!!

Crap, did I say that out loud??

Ugh, not good at all. Cruz has clearly not been the same and we haven't really seen Jimmy yet.
It's the worst "football injury" out there.  But that's also more for skill position/mobile players.   A QB can manage fine.  You would think.

OFFICIAL: Teddy Bridgewater carted off with a torn patellar tendon in his knee. Same injury as Victor Cruz and Jimmy Graham.

That guy is not even a reporter, just some clown that says he "likes to tweet about sports".  His next tweet after that says:

LOL @ getting RTs for a purely speculative prognosis on Teddy Bridgewater. OMG. I have no idea, people. But this is amusing.

Problem with anyone they would bring in is they would have to learn a new system on the fly with the season days away.

As unexciting as he is, Shaun Hill is probably the best option in the short term.  He knows the system and personnel and is familiar with his teammates.  As long as he can hand the ball off the ADP and McKinnon, complete some short, safe passes and avoid turning the ball over, he might just be OK.

Pretty much guaranteed Shaun will start week one if Teddy is out... then again, this offense relies heavily on the running game so if they pickup a veteran he could learn as they go. But Hill is not the "season" answer.. If Teddy is out they need to bring in someone that could start say week 5, they have a bye on week 4.
