....hmmmm

National Football League

After his final match at WrestleMania XX, Lesnar sidelined his career in WWE to pursue a career in the National Football League. This move upset many people, as the WWE had invested heavily in Lesnar. Unfortunately for Lesnar, his football career didn't exactly pan out. After playing in a few pre-season games for the Minnesota Vikings, Lesnar was eventually cut from the team. Lesnar had suffered injuries in a motorcycle accident during the summer of 2004, which along with lack of football practice prevented him from performing well enough to remain in a Vikings practice squad position. He declined to accept an invitation to play as a representative of the Vikings in NFL Europe. He made no attempts to sign with an AFL or CFL team. Lesnar is listed as a free agent in Madden NFL '06. There was a producer-made model of Lesnar in Madden NFL '06. Despite the name, the model looked almost nothing like the real Lesnar.

umm, he's not a football player?

He's actually wrestling in Japan again.....my friend is a huge wrestling fan and follows all that nonsense.

I was hoping the guy caught on, played defense for the Vikings and got his ### kicked by Stephen Neal on the field.

Neal would then be able to boast beating the guy on the mat and the field. :boxing:

He was wrestling in Japan but the WWE put a stop to it once they found out. Brock Lesnar cannot wrestle until ten years after he left the WWE. The WWE put a no compete clause in his contract. He can wrestle for them but no one else for ten years. The WWE actually sent him an offer to come back to them but he turned it down because he wanted more money. Now he filed a law suit against them to try to make them take off the no compete clause in his contract. I'm not sure if he won or lost the law suit. I never liked Lesnar from the start. He had no talent and he proved it when he wrestled the wrost match in wrestlemania history against another no talent wrestler, Goldberg.

I believe Lesnar/WWE settled in court recently (Don't care enough to google it. Believe he can wrestle out of the country, just not for TNA Wrestling). He's getting married (may be already) to that washed up c%#t Sable.

Lesnar/Goldberg was a disaster. Neither guy gave a damn to appear that night nor have either been in a WWE ring since.

I actually applaud him. For walking away from wrestling like that in his prime ( and top of the WWE ) in order to try out for football.

No way that would hold up. In every jurisdiction, it can be only for a reasonable duration and a reasonable geographical area. The whole world for ten years won't cut it.And in California (and probably various other states), it wouldn't hold up at all. Non-compete agreements with former employees are unenforceable.

I think it was pretty arrogant of him to think he even had a shot.
