From RotoWorld:

There may be a mix of rain or snow in Denver Monday night.

The game has the look of a defensive struggle and poor weather may not help.

Need 10 from Heap.

Any updates on his injury? I know he said he would play, but wondering if there has been any further word.

No - rainy games favor runners. WRs are slowed down on soggy grass, QBs have trouble gripping the ball.

Fopr what it is worth, I just stepped outside and it is still cold drizzling - been cold drizzling, not quite rain, all day. Everything is very very wet - it's a cold "soaking" rain.

Actually great temperature for football, but horrible weather, and it'll get a LOT colder tonight, possibly turning to snow at night.

Hmmm, I wonder if I picked a bad week to give up sniffing glue. And trading for Javon Walker.

I thought rain favored WRs because they can mentally prepare to make cuts on the slick turf, but the DBs are in react mode and are more likely to slip. However once wind becomes a factor (> 15mph) then you put it in the air at your own peril.

Still looks ok when they show pictures from Denver.

Game should at least start in daylight also.

Edit to add.....Hmmmmm...looks pretty dark there.

Snow favors WRs. See the game Jerry Porter toasted Champ Bailey in Denver for evidence. Rain is a disaster for passing games, for the reasons which Marc touched on.

Dug this up, still not sure if rain helps or hinders the passing game... I think wind has a bigger affect, not rain.Drinen's Notebook on Weather

Complete data set

One thing that has me scratching my head a little is that rain and cold seem to hurt QBs, TEs and RBs, but not WRs. Why would that be? Another interesting observation is that windy weather seems to hamper the passing game (including WRs) a little more than rain or cold weather does. In any event, what I'll take from this is: in most cases, weather seems to have the expected effect, but in general, the effect isn't huge. Don't overreact to a forecast of rain.
