Broncos vs Chiefs - Week 8 (1 Viewer)

Nice 3 and out Broncos - Keenum throws behind DT and DT really doesn't try - fail on both ends.

Broncos D - bringing it on the first series - first time Chiefs have failed to score on first drive

Broncos march down field for a Lindsay TD - big play a 49 yard pass to Sanders with Keenum on rollout. Looks like rollout will be the way to work Keenum today - he had a nice toss to DT on the drive as well using a rollout

Chiefs get offense going with some throws to Kelce and Hill - get to 1 on 4th down. Reid decides to go for it but #77 for Chiefs has other ideas and false starts. So they settle for Butker FG

Broncos Lindsay running strong - but they decide to run Sanders wide on end around and they are stopped. McManus misses his first FG attempt from 55. This is how things usually start blowing up for the Broncos this season.

TD Kelce - easy easy drive - big gain to Hill into red zone and simple throw and catch to Kelce.

Bronco 1st quarter offense and defense is but a fleeting memory

Case Keenum with no pocket - or pocket awareness - gets sacked twice and kills a drive that Lindsay was running well on.

Another easy drive for the Chiefs - TD to Sammy Watkins.

Good job by Broncos D laying down before halftime - locker room should be interesting with Vance Joseph handing out popsicles for all the guys.

The Broncos are gashing them on the ground as well. It'll be interesting to see which way Denver leans coming out of the half.

Run - play action

But they have to stay close to make it work - if they fall behind big  it will be throw all the time

Mahomes to Watkins Part II for a TD - Chiefs doing what they want. Kelce opening up the field - for too long the Broncos have had no answer to defending a TE

Lindsay with 45 yards rushing called back on holding today. Both calls kinda weak

Another flag on a Lindsay screen play that had gained about 15

Keenum sacked to end first drive of the half - a total disaster of holding calls

Shanked punt only to 35 yard line - Chiefs poised to put this away.

Hunt with the run of the season on 4th down and 1 - leaps a defender and carries 3 guys into end zone.

Hunt.  WTF was that?    WOW!    Video game like.    I would like to have a dollar everytime that run is replayed.

I think I'm most amazed by their ability to keep picking up chunks on the ground every single week, but continuing to insist Keenum be a gunslinger and have an offense led by him.

Keenum connects to TE Hueremann on 4th down for a TD

Fails on 2 pt try

Sanders back in on that play

Finally a pick on Mahomes - we got them where we want them now.

But first play back is a illegal motion

Broncos drive stopped by Keenum fumble - total lack of awareness on the play. 4th sack. Irony is Broncos were holding on play and still give up strip sack

Denver is down by 10 with almost 8 minutes left. The running game is on fire. They have enough time to keep gaining chunks on the ground. But instead...let's rely on Keenum?
