Broncos vs Dallas Pre-season (1 Viewer)

Broncos LB are looking good getting pressure and containing the run (especially Webster), but the secondary is concerning in that they (as in the SF game) are giving up chunks of yardage on 3rd and long.

Travis Henry with a fumble on the Broncos' own 7 yard line. Broncos are looking really rough right now,

JJ in for the TD for Dallas.

Shanny comes back with 2 straight Henry runs and he get a first down in those 2 carries.

And now Marshall with a catch for another 1st down.

People look a little slow out there, but it could have something to do with the temp being close to 100 and the humidity through the roof.

Marshall very active in the offense and has a very nice catch for a 1st down. I think he has been targeted at least 3....well make that 4 times another catch for Marshall for another 7 yards.

All the starters still in BTW with 9:00 to go in the 2nd.

Barber looking better than Jones. not counting the td'sjones: 9 -31 yards long of 8barber: 5 - 27 yards long of 11
This situation has all the hallmarks of driving whoever drafts them crazy. I've thought it all year and nothing has yet changed my mind. Someone else will surely draft Barber before me, and probably JJ too.

The same play over and over is working for Dallas and worked for SF last week. Run the WR's deep on clear outs and have your slot WR come across the middle for a big gain. Plus absolutely no pressure by the Denver line.

Another goal line TD for Barber 21-3 Dallas

Ho-hum. Always wonder what people are watching when they try to back Jones. :loco:
As a cowboy fan I dont care who is running for them, they both do very well. I dont believe the starting job is really up for grabs. Julius will be starting as long as he is healthy, maybe thats what people are backing?

Some general how-they-are-looking thoughts on the 1st teamers would be good....
Dallas looking like the better teamhowever...I wish I saw more pressure on Cutler...and Romo, although he looks good, and the Int was not his fault, still has yet to throw a TD pass

Talk to me about Crayton please, I can't see the game.
Crayton got 30 of his yards on that aforementioned clear out play. He was wide open and was running well. However he just fumbled the punt return but managed to recover his own fumble.Ekuban is reported with an achilles injury that doesn't look good.DRE BLY WITH A FORCED FUMBLE that is recoved by the Broncos.

In terms of Fantasy, Marion Barber III looks like he's right back where he left off.

If you started him with confidence last year, looks like you can do it again this year.

Cutler is not looking sharp at all.

Graham has been targeted several times and just made a lucky catch on a tipped ball to get the Broncos inside the Dallas 10.

Spencer showing nice closing speed on the pressure at the goal line after a good play in coverage downfield on the Graham catch of a tipped pass.

Travis Henry with a fumble on the Broncos' own 7 yard line. Broncos are looking really rough right now,JJ in for the TD for Dallas.
looks like Cutler is credited with the fumble, what happenned? QB-RB exchange problem?
Cutler put it right on his numbers and he just dropped it. Like I mentioned, humidity is really high there and people are sweating like a sauna. The doctors are looking at Henry's left knee.

Travis is walking around on the sidelines with his knee taped up.

Oh and I echo, Barber is running very well. Jones looks like he thinks too much about the hole and Barber just makes it happen.

Folk PK for Dallas with a nice 51 yarder 24-6 Dallas.

1st teamers are done for the night. Halftime.

T. Henry was injured on a carry with just under 4 minutes left in the 2nd quarter. Kinda surprised he was sill in there handling the RB duties - thought Shanny would have yanked him earlier than that.

Oh cmon, JJ's problems were all Parcells' fault.

We won't know how severe the injury is until probably Monday......he is, however, on the sideline with his knee wrapped/taped up - so it might just be a sprain as reported. Those of us that drafted Henry can only hope it isn't too serious. Maybe Shanny will take him out before the SECOND quarter if Travis is well enough to play next week
