Browns-Jaguars Weather Update (1 Viewer)

I realize the Jags and Browns aren't prolific passing offenses but the weather for their game Sunday looks like it could be a serious issue for the passing game. The report is winds over 20 mph with gusts close to 25 mph or slightly higher. For those considering Sims-Walker or perhaps Massaquoi or those brave souls planning on starting Garrard despite his massive road issues, this will be something to keep tabs on.

When the Browns have won this year they have done it with a good running game, good special teams play, and in spite of a poor passing attack. Expect more of the same Sunday regardless, do not under any circumstances start anyone on the Browns other than Harrison and Cribbs, who could both be in for huge games. Do not under any circumstances start anyone on the Jags other than MJD and Sims-Walker, and anyone who owns Sims-Walker knows they're playing with fire regardless of the weather.

Anyone think the wind is bad enough to warrant starting the Jax D? My other options are pretty rough. Having that wind going straight across the field as the link indicates could lead to some picks and other poor throws.

Sad but true. As of today he's in my lineup because I can start 5 WRs in my league. But if this weather report proves to be accurate, he's out.

No, but I think Derek Anderson is bad enough to warrant starting them :excited:

Any updates from Browns' homers? Sims-Walker's Tweet this morning made it sound real bad in terms of the wind.

I'm about 10 miles east of the stadium, snowed another 2-3" over night, still snowing now, and it's going sideways, probably about 15-20 mph. It's about 15 degrees w/sub zero wind chill, in other words only slightly warmer than the frigid Steelers game.

Expect a lot of running, I'm expecting at least one Jerome Harrison fumble, I just hope it doesn't lead to a benching...which is why I'm thinkign about starting J Stew over him.
