Browns RB's (1 Viewer)

It's down the Reuben, Jerome Harrison and Jason Wright...

Green is on IR and Suggs got cut... after his trade got slapped down for failing the physical...

Harrison has looked good in the preseason... evident by him playing with the first team week 3...

As if there wasn't enough RB termoil this year, where do some of you stand on Harrison this year? How strong is the shot of him taking over?

I haven't seen him run, just saw the numbers from the game logs... would like to hear what people think...

Thanks

I don't think he'll take the job from Droughns. Harrison is a pretty small guy and I don't think Romoe is gona risk it with a rookie.

However I htink Harrison will cut a bit into Droughns carries. He's small and has a quick bust and great hands. He'll be on the field for 3rd downs and any 1st, 2nd and very long plays and maybe 2 minute offense.

Droughns is a workhorse and he'll be the pounder on 1st and 2nd downs and it looks like Vickers in short yardage judgeing by preseason.

Droughns Harrison is a bigger verison of Dunn... same height, about 20 lbs heavier... but I agree the rookie won't step in right away... but I wonder if he's a better fit down the line... as the OL isn't the best and a shiftier guy may work better with that line.Just food for thought...

Thanks for your input

Harrison is a very natural runner. Great vision, patience and burst. Reports are that his hands are above average as well. I wouldn't be surprised if he put up a few nice games if given a chance.

I made him a late pick and have him stashed on my roster. If nothing else I may be able to trade him to the Droughns owner.

Droughns has great vision and a good first cut but doesn't have great speed. He puts his head down and drives. Not at all like Dunn IMO.I've been watching the Browns forever. You can bank on Harrison not taking the starting job from Droughns. Romeo likes the ball control offense and a guy that can pound the ball all day. Harrison is not that kind of back.

Wasn't paying attention to what I was typing, I meant Harrison

Harrison is not a threat to Droughns this year, but he'll vulture some touches. Even if Droughns got hurt tomorrow, I would suspect Crennel would split time between Harrison and Wright. He won't risk Harrison getting hurt. However if Harrison performs well and stays healthy all season then maybe next year he gets more touches and Droughns shifts to COP and short yardage guy.

Watched Harrison at Wazzu the last two seasons and the kid is flat out tough! He will run between the tackles and take a lick with the biggest of them! :excited: I see him as a productive back in the NFL and was surprised to see him fall so far. I tried to trade up in the 2nd of my dynasty draft to get him, but that team wanted him also! :(

Thats the kind of research I"m looking for... I'm just not sold on Reuben and if Harrison pans out, he becomes like an 18th round keeper for me next year... so glad to hear someone high on him

Blah, blah, blah, I own Droughns and Harrison isn't a threat.

Blah, blah, blah, I own Harrison and Droughns sucks.

Blah, blah, blah I passed on Droughns because I feared Harrison stealing carries from Droughns.

Blah, blah, blah I passed on Harrison because Droughns is solid though I passed on him because I preferred others.
