BTTF 2017 : Scoobus wins World Series (1 Viewer)

30.13:  J.R. Murphy, C

You know it's a solid pick with you do a google news search to make sure the guy isn't hurt and he doesn't even show up on the first page of results

It's almost 10am.  Anyone know who is OTC as if it's east coast we may have one if not two skips.

TIA #####es

ANNOUNCEMENT FOR THIS WEEKEND:

I want to try an experiement where we "take the weekend off".

Guidelines

  1. There will be no weekend clock, as usual, and there is zero expectation that you make a pick.
  2. The clock will turn off at 7:00pm ET today for all drafters, regardless of time zone.
  3. If you are up next, or if you have missed prior picks, you are free to make such picks.
  4. If you do make a pick in order, please text or PM (not @ in the thread) the next guy.
  5. The clock will re-engage as normal on Monday morning.

For @Greco via text...

30.19 - Mike Pelfrey, SP, DET

**ALERT** WE HAVE PASSED THE PELFREY PLATEAU PEOPLE!!!!!  **ALERT**
My pitching staff was bad enough last year that I actually, gulp, used him pretty regularly.

I did not win the championship.

Street was terrible last year and is always an injury risk but he's had an excellent career.  His 324 career SV is top 20 all-time and third among active players.    He's 32 now but could get into the top ten with a couple more years in a closing role.

ETA:  I can't write this many words about many other 31st rounders.

I drafted him like 20 rounds earlier last year. Did a great job for me.

(He's a good pick here. I thought he had been taken long ago or I would've jumped in again... I've always had a soft spot for the dreamboat)

31.10 Ryan McMahon, 1B/3B, Col

In a nightmare scenario where Arenado gets hurt, maybe he comes up and does something. Probably a wasted pick but it's round 31.
