***BTTF VI: Draft Over! See you in October (1 Viewer)

@RnR Still haven't heard an offer or what might work for you there, gb.  Too busy in the politics thread getting yelled at by commie pinkos? :coffee:
About once every 6 months I'll make that mistake. :bag:

Just stop trying to rip me off and let's do it.

I'm trying to find what works for us both. Which is why my last OFFICIAL communication was "what works for you"

I was mostly giving you a hard time. You drive a hard bargain. I'll think of something.
I wouldn't be holding my own as a self loathing Jew if I didn't try to feed into the stereotype.  That, and a hot shiksa wife*

* who freakin' converted.

850-SP innings but 50-75 more in relief innings that will be directly matched with a starter tandem style

Total IP. Trade with Moops leaves me 105 short of required minimum.
I've got 80-100 crappy (Nicolino) pretty meh (Rea) or good (Ross) starting innings still... no one's actually sent an offer though.

Bunch of pansies.

If anyone needs some PA, I have John Jaso and his 432 PA of 268/353/413 available for trade. Could pair him with a decent RP for an upgrade at RP. Could sub in Josh Bell and his slightly better 273/368/406 line but only 152 PA (switch hitter though if that matters)

Can't get in.  Don't have a qualified 1B.  Albert Pujols didn't make the cut.
Albert makes the cut.  In the draft center make sure you have clicked the secondary positions box and lowered the number of games played to 0 (or 5)? That should do the trick.

My dream of getting that one last bat looks to be unfulfilled - which is a bit of a bummer, because Nicolino's crappy innings would be needed for me to make that trade and I can't bring him with me. C'est La Vie and RIP those 80 craptastic IP (actually not brutal, 1.46 WHIP, .91 HR - but pretty bad.)

Back and logged in, ready for this stupid WS to end so the real season can begin!

Since I can't trade my pitchers let's flip the script. Anyone have innings to spare?

anyone interested in Cervelli and his .377 OBP as catcher (good D, no arm) for 100-150 innings and something else? Could also include Matt Holiday, F. Gutierrez (AAA eligible) on their own for less good innings or include them and Cervelli in a bigger deal.

You did not take him in the first 47 rounds.  Of course, it appears you don't have rounds 47-50 updated on the sheet, SOOOO.... way to #### everything up there GB
I entered my team, but I could not bring Christian colon, tj rivera nor Alexei amarista to the party......if anyone is interested.

One idea would be to make a roster lock next year a week or 2 after the regular season. If people are busy that's one thing, but we could at least not incentivize dragging your feet.

Or, we could relax and enjoy the playoffs while we tinker with rosters and discuss trades...like we do every year. Starting this after the playoffs ensures that you'll have some form of baseball to warm your heart deep into December.

Embrace the patience.

So who wants to jump into a three way we RnR and me! :oldunsure:

I want his catcher. I can give up Shoemaker who @RnR wants

Id need to replace 50-100 of those innings and could deal any combo of Cervelli (Catcher with .377 OBP), Matt Holiday, Franklin Gutierrez (AAA eligible!)

SOOO - any takers for Cervelli or the others (or others and/or my crappier backup catchers) for startable innings or a decent amount of good relief? Or maybe you take Cervelli and something else from RnR in a true three way deal.

Let's get creative people!

ETA: no need to low ball with 50-100 meh innings for Cervelli - he's a very solid plus offensive catcher, I'm just HR hungry in my home park! Maybe I get 50 IP back from RNR, something from a third team and that team also gives RnR something.

Chances of this His happening are understandable close to zero - then again so TO has a Cubs-Tribe series for the last gazillion years

I'm pretty loaded with meh innings though.
Depending on how meh, I'm willing to have one less good pitcher for a better lineup... but whips in the 1.4s plus and HRs above 1.25 notta gonna work.

I'm actually willing to use Nicolino as meh innings (high whip but .9 hr) but it's not enough to cover. Loss of 160IP of good starting innings. Problem is as of now no room for Nicolino in my roster so I can't do this deal once season starts.

Anyone want Benoits 50 decent IP in a deal with Cervelli, Gutierrez or others depending on what I get back for 75-100 starting innings could help grease this 3-way through.

I'd rather cut him out and get Shoe and an OFer for C. Davis. :coffee:

That could work but need some IP back and/or be Joe Ross as I'm not sure Scoob and I have a fit.

Plus, let's be honest, Davis is good but does not have the value of Gattis.

I hear Cervelli is getting a bit irritated at the incessant banter of trading him to. Little does he know it's just a ploy to motivate.

What if I throw Mike Muscala in the deal? :coffee:

Just waiting on those last few teams. World Series almost over!

Also I need 100-150 PAs at catcher. Anyone have any to spare? My crappy innings could be yours! Hell Chase Utley's starting season at 2B could be yours.

If you get totally desperate, I have 74 PA's of Blake Swihart, he is D-/D+/D-.

I'm still looking for some 3B PA's as well if anyone has some around.

God the lack of SimLive sucks. I'd have been lovin' these last few weeks.

Curiosity got the best of me... Cueto takes on Lester as the Upsiders play the Cubs... 15-2 Victory later, even Hyun-Soo Kim gets a HR in the victory!

AND.... that'll be it. Since only Cueto seems available.  Has less been done with more than WIS.com?

But would still take some innings one way or another so I can trade for Gattis and give up Shoemaker's 160IP... seems as likely as having a smooth election day and kisses across the aisle, after.

Could through back the Matt Wisler in a deal.  Pre-season darling/Cy Young candidate!

1.5 HR/9 ? Ouch.   Especially in my park with +2.

Much as I love Crush, his season really was pretty weak other than the ton of HRs. Which I love, but it's not nearly worth going from say Matt Holiday and his 20 HRs in a third less PAs as compared with Crush's 37 or whatever. I'd rather have Shoemaker and Holiday than Crush and Wisler.

But I do appreciate legit offers and discussion!  Now, if I got Gattis from @RnR then I may be willing to take on those scary IP.  In fact, I would (anyone else you want for Wisler? Can give back Nicolino's 80 crappy innings in return - I assume he's not AAA eligible

I'll take Utley for Kevin Plawecki

I'm pretty sure if I enter a 2nd team in the league, then I can pull the first one and swap out Utley for Plawecki. I'm going to give that a try.

EDIT: It worked!

FWIW. you can exit and re-enter as many times as you like (until the league actually forms). that said, it will reset the lineup and rotations, so if you go through all that effort and don't want to again, then don't back out.

Oh, you mean because you are commish? :oldunsure:

My team is entered in advance of the end of the World Series. You're welcome.

ETA: I am still looking to deal PAs (8000) for IPs (1250). Holla atcha boy.
