**Buccaneers at Giants** (+6, 41) 1:00 (1 Viewer)

I think Vegas is pretty on with this one too.

I'd be a little surprised if Devito was better than Jones. I do think the offense might flow more through the running game, and Tracy could break some big plays.

For TB, I think Mayfield picks apart a pretty weak secondary, and I think is especially willing to dink and dunk his way down the field. Probably a great PPR week for White.

Bucs-24
Giants-17

Giants taking measures to ensure they get a Top 5 pick and a chance at a QB

Bucs 27
Giants 13

Be careful anyone wanting to start Tracy at RB, he had a bad fumble last game and word is Dev Singletary will get more touches today
Just be aware you might not get what you are hoping from Tracy

Where did you read that singletary will get more touches today? That would really help those of us that are considering Tracy. I looked everywhere and didn’t see any mention of this. Not doubting you, but I’d like to know what makes you say this.

Thanks

NY radio stations are excited for Devito and the offense may have a small spark, but with all the negative press about 1st benching Jones, then placing Jones on the practice squad... to play Safety (can't make this up)... then releasing Jones who people actually liked. Defensive Leaders spoke out how disappointed they are and I don't expect them to play very hard.

On top of that, Bucs are getting Evans back and I can see them blowing up the Giants.
I'll give the 6

Another Home Dog
New qb for The Giants
Same results
The Bucs off a bye getting Evans back
Baker will enjoy his top receiver today
Still picking The Home Dogs to cover or win today
So...

Baker's Bucs- 31
Tommy's Cutlets- 26

You got be FN kidding Bucky to the 1 and then they bring in freaking Tucker

All PlaysScoring Summary

Touchdown14 plays, 70 yards, 8:23
TB6
NYG0
  • 1st & Goal at NYG 1

    (6:37 - 1st) S.Tucker left guard for 1 yard, TOUCHDOWN.
  • 1st & 10 at NYG 15

    (7:27 - 1st) (Shotgun) B.Mayfield pass short right to B.Irving to NYG 1 for 14 yards (T.Nubin; J.Pinnock).

That 4th and short shows Tracy's inexperience at RB. If you're going to break the play and turn up-field early, you HAVE to reach and power for that 1st. Because you're not necessarily going to have the blocking afforded to you on the run. He went down early on that.

Bucky could had 3 TD's already but settles for 1 as he decides he better score since idiots keep taking him out at the 1

Once Evans came back we'd see some measure of change in the O. Otton wasn't going to dominate targets forever.
The 4 games before Evans got hurt Otton had 9, 4, 6, and 10 targets. I thought he'd get at least a few by now.

I got to say when DeVito has been able to throw these throws are on-target. He's giving the receivers a chance for YAC and throwing the ball where his guy has a chance for it.

The issue is right now this line is severely compromised.

Giants are cheap and didn't want to risk Jones injury and didn't want to risk Lock incentives..........so Nabers will suffer with DeVito.

It sure seemed early in the year we all hit the jackpot with Nabers then he got hurt and it has not been anything close to what it was and now even worse with this QB clown show.

Sean Tucker :towelwave:
If you started him I can't tell you how bad your team must be to start a 3rd string RB
Not starting, but always happy to see prospects on my dynasty roster produce.
There certainly seemed to be a push to get Tucker reps. When the coach comes out and says he wants to see more of a RB/3-headed committee, he's usually telling the truth unless he's Sean Payton.

EDIT: I've love to see the main RBs be Irving/Tucker with White the passing RB. White's inefficiency running the ball has been known for years.

Pay the man

Bucs kinda showing an 8th man in the box for awhile now, they're daring NY to pass and for the O-Line to hold up against the rush.

Priorities for NFL owners:
#1 Making money
distant 2nd winning

I've seen posts on other boards saying that Tracy may have a fumbling problem, but he never should have been in that situation. I'm sorry but DeVito/Nabers/Tracy had a great drive; 1st down and Goal and Daboll called THAT?

Nice tight on-target pass to Wan'Dale to get the 1st down there, another pass that allows the WR to do something with the ball.

Nabers very unhappy after the game.

Nabers called the Giants “soft as ****” while talking to reporters in the locker room after the game and said he felt he couldn’t do anything to help the team avoid its sixth-straight loss because the ball never came his way before the result was in hand.

“I mean, it’s just soft man,” Nabers said, via Ryan Novozinsky of NJ.com. “I’m tired of going out there and losing. It’s just that. I mean, I don’t know bro. I go out there, first and second quarter, and I don’t get the ball and start getting targets at the end. I mean, I can’t do nothing. Start getting the ball at 30-0 — what do you want me to do?”

Nabers finished the day with six catches for 64 yards and said he doesn’t know why the team is in such a bad place. He did share that he doesn’t think it has anything to do with Jones or Tommy Devito. “Obviously it ain’t the quarterback,” Nabers said. “Same outcome we had when DJ was the quarterback. Take a look. Take a look: It ain’t the quarterback.”
