Latest info (ex KFFL):

Dave Spadaro, of PhiladelphiaEagles.com, reports Philadelphia Eagles RB Correll Buckhalter (knee) said he hopes to return to the practice field in July or August. "I can run and I can go side to side and remain pretty stable," he said. "The only thing about running is that I've still got a little limp because I'm lacking some girth in my quad. I'd say I'm 70-75 percent." Buckhalter still feels he will be able to make it all the way back. "It's not a belief that I'll get all the way back; I know I will. God hasn't brought me this far to have me stop here. I'm still young and I've still got a lot of football in me. My body feels fresh and I'm just ready to go out there and make some plays."
Some of us have been keeping Buckhalter on our deep dynasty league rosters for years, reassuring ourselves every pre-season when he suffers the inevitable injury that he could always come back next year.Well, here we are again. The Eagles did not draft a big pounding RB, which means C-Buck is still... at least on paper... in with a chance. Not to start, of course, but perhaps to be RB2 in a RBBC with Westbrook and to a lesser degree Moats.

Are you the guy that held Barry Sanders for three years after he retired?
No, but I did hold Dominic Rhodes for several years of nothingness and that has kind of worked out. ;)

wonder what the real value is in stashing Buck all this time. Did you get him as a rook? Or a veteran startup draft? What were some other players drafted same round as him? Any idea?

Good luck to him, feels alot like Robert Edwards in Miami to me though

are you kidding me? i was as high on buck as anybody, but 3 major knee injuries? forget it.

Doesn't sound promising for a 28 year old RB whose ligaments have been abused more than a stripper at a Duke lacrosse party.
