Buffalo at New Orleans (1 Viewer)

Let's go easy on Lewis. The guy had poor protection today, and Manuel wasn't wowing anybody with his accuracy pre-injury. I want EJ back of course but I'm happy with what I've seen from Thad.
For what he is, an undrafted FA, Lewis has done an admirable job.

But if you ever want to sit with the adults in the playoffs, Lewis isn't the answer. He's just not good enough to beat Drew Brees on the road. Games like these are how you get to where you want to go & Lewis just isn't the answer.

I'm not saying that Lewis is The Guy, just that it's not fair to pin this loss on him. The Saints are a better team than we are and that showed today in several areas. No shame in that.

that's why he looks like a good backup.

good teams have good backups.

Colston looks snake bit to me. Like he's tired of laying it out. Maybe he has an injury and we just dont know about it because he played very aggressively at the start of the season.

The talk of the Saints not being able to run the talk seems totally wrong to me. Pierre Thomas almost always has decent numbers. It's more like Payton just doesn't care to run the ball.

And of course now it's being reported that Goodwin was carted to the locker room with an elbow injury.

Because of course the Bills have another injury.

Can someone tell me what the hell is wrong with Marques Colston?
He's been invisible all game. I think Stephon Gilmore has played a big part; he can lock his man down. Hell, I can only remember Colston being thrown to a couple times. Nonexistent

Like I said earlier, I think he could be playing with an injury, he avoided contact that made him loose his vision on that one deep ball thrown his way and then on an out route over the back shoulder his feet just went out from under him. He got targets from Brees this game and failed to capitalize. Its very puzzling to say the least.
