Hey all,
I wanted to do an exercise that I do not normally do, but I think would be interesting in terms of talking about drafts and draft strategies. Many people here do WCOFF and use PPR type scoring, so I want to build a team in 20 rounds. I do not think draft order matters that much after the top 10 picks or so, so I wanted to concentate on this two ways.
First: The top 10 rounds.
For this, you get to pick either in the top 4 spots (1.1 -1.4), the middle (1.5 - 1.9) or at the turn (1.10 - 1.12).
Set up a team based on IDP of players for those spots for the top of the draft....
THEN>>>>
Fill out the rest of your team. Draft postion really doesn't matter that much after round 10, as ADPs move around a bit.
I have not picked at the top of a WCOFF draft yet, so I will assume a later pick for these purposes (ie somewhere in the middle)
I will get to my draft in a bit, but I wanted to hear thoughts from others on this before I chime in.
I find that in WCOFF, guys that you get after round 10 go a long way to deciding your season. Guys like Sammy Morris, Jerome Bettis, Bobby Engram, Wes Welker (both in miami and in New England) have been helpful post round 10 contributors to WCOFF success. Let me hear your thoughts...
