Bulger dynasty owner here... I need him back but i want a healthy QB back... hell; if they sit him until Week 10 (Week 9 is a bye) and I get a healthy Bulger for a lae Playoff run... then I'll take it.

I have absolutely no faith in him..............In Gus, we Trust!

:towelwave:

Pretty sad actually when you think about it.

EXACTLY. I hope they DO hold him out until the BYE.He's worth hanging onto because broken ribs ALWAYS heal, with a max heal time of a few weeks I'm guessing. There is NO DOUBT he's the better QB, no doubt he's the future (Frerotte is 36), and they will always have to throw a ton. The schedule is pretty good down the stretch. The key will be the return of SJax and the betterment of the oline. I think this last game showed that the oline IS improving. For me, it's worth a shot to keep him.

I grabbed him off the wire for a potential playoff run. I can see using Bulger in a QBBC type setup once he heals up. I have no doubt that he will return to the starter gig in StL, the only question is when. I'll give the roster spot for potential upside late.

And the nice part about the "when" is that with ribs, it's a sure recovery. The only danger would be rushing him back and then having him get hit again with unhealed ribs that unset. Gotta hold him out through the BYE. By then, the ribs should be very close to 100% and he should be his lively self.Gotta expect to have SJax then, too. In an RBBC with Leonard, which is simply more weapons for Bulger.
