Bulger tonight? (1 Viewer)

Somehow i was able to survive my opponent having Parker, JOnes Drew and Gore to have a chance tonight. I need 2TDs from Marc tonight to be safe. Do I have a chance? Or should i start my praying earlier than later this afternoon?

i agree wtih the above posters..especially since i need 65 yds and a score from holt..that means bulger will probably wont throw any tds and have around 60 yds or so...

here is my fearless prediction

22-37 - 243 yards, 2 tds 2 picks

jackson 21-94-1 7-67-0

holt 6-84-1

bruce 4-52-0

curtis 3-26-0

klop - 2-14-0

if i nail these projections you owe me a beer :banned:

My prediction is....

4-14 76 yards, 0 TDs, 1 INT

Bulger gets knocked out of the game by Urlacher while trying to make a tackle following the INT.

:loco:

I would say 250 and 2 tds is his upside. I sat Edge so i need 200 and 3tds.. Im not expecting to win but its possible. I cant see the Rams winning this game so he may throw 40+ times

I hope you are on the money with your predictions.....they would give me the win

Well lets see, Rams offensive coodinators know the only way to have a fighting chance against "Da Bears" is to run the ball.

That being said, my prediction for tonights game.

Bulger 19-39 239yds 1td 2ints (1 returned for a TD)

The Rams will be in the game but go down by a score b/c Bulger will throw a pickle for a TD. Down by a score the Rams will completely abandon the run and allow Bulger to throw it up as much as he can, because everyone who knows anything about football knows that the only way to get back into a game with a stud RB is to throw the ball. I mean it has worked so good for them up to this point.

The good news for Bulger is that not only is Tommie Harris out, but so is Nathan Vasher. Ricky Manning Jr. is a solid backup but it has been rumored that when the Rams use 3 wide receiver sets that Manning Jr. will go to his nickel role and Devin Hester will replace him at cornerback. This is a very scary thought, as Hester is about as raw as they come and could have a very long night. I think the Bears numbers against the pass are a little deceiving, Tillman gives room to the wide receivers and so it is very possible to put up numbers against the Bears. I think Bulger will do better than expected, although as a Bears fan I hope Ogunleye and Alex Brown come hard off the corners and don't allow Bulger much time.

Good insight :goodposting:

I disagree with all you guys tonight and predict 300+ and 2-3 TD's from Bulger. This Ram team loves center stage and have a great chance to upset the Bears IMHO.

The Bears secondary is banged up and Bulger has the tools to exploit this. Holt has been waiting for this game!

You guys are talking like Bulger is hurt. he's listed as probable. I'd be more worried about the special teams. Devin Hester could have a very nice game.

Rams and Over. They should cover the 6 easily and have a good chance to win outright. The Bears are struggling right now on offense but Griese could change that in a hurry.

TRG Out!

actual statsM. Bulger 34/55 356 3 1 -- bulger passed a lot more.. especially in the 4th when they were down big and the bears scored on the hester KO returnS. Jackson 18 81 1 / 10 58 1 -- nailed his touches, missed the receiving td.. fairly close hereT. Holt 6 75 2 - missed the 2nd tdI. Bruce 4 62 0 - pretty close hereK. Curtis 4 77 0 - had the big play which helped his yardage totalJ. Klopfenstein 4 31 0 - benefited from the big defecit in the 2nd half with some passes underneathoverall missed out on bulger the most.. did okay on jax and the top 2 receivers..

There were reports the Bulger had rib injuries. Considering they were playing Chicago, the injury, the playing of the OL of late and it being a Monday night game, many simply could not take that chance.

Bulger showed his toughness after taking the head shot late in the game last night.

He could have easily hung it up for the night with the game out of reach, but stayed in and finished with over 300 yards in the air.
