Same here. Have Ben as my starter, but I obviously can't count on Rivers to do squat if something happens to him. Might as well take a shot with Bulger. He will need a healthy SJax to be effective. That being said, he was outright dropped in one of my leagues, and I am doing everything I can to land him.
next yearAnyone have predictions as to when the OLine will be semi-healthy again?
Ah well. Was hoping OLine healthy and SJax return would converge around week 9-11. If Bulger got back in and could stay alive until then, he'd be a good buy low for the playoff stretch. You don't see any chance of that happening, eh?next yearAnyone have predictions as to when the OLine will be semi-healthy again?
O pace is out for the year for sure. The rest of that Oline isnt that great anyway.Doesnt look good for them thats for sureAh well. whats really weird though is that Pace was hurt last year and Sjax seemed to take off after Pace was out.Mirage?Pace may be the single most significant injury in the NFL this year, given the ramifications for the entire St. Louis offense. No fewer than three anticipated fantasy studs, Holt, SJ and Bulger have been all but wrecked due in large part to that injury. I've got Bulger on one of my dynasty teams and I'm pretty much writing him off for the year. If they're smart, they'll let Frerotte get battered while Bulger lets his ribs recover fully.
No idea. A Rams homer will be in a much better position to explain. He was dropped in one of my leagues too. By me. Lucky for me that Brees was dropped too because I picked him up and dropped Bulger. Brees was much better than Bulger yesterday replacing Ben during his bye. Now I have to decide whether to keep Brees for the rest of the season or pick Bulger back up or go with Griese or somebody on the WW. I think I'll just play Ben the rest of the way and not worry about it.Steel Town said:He will need a healthy SJax to be effective. That being said, he was outright dropped in one of my leagues, and I am doing everything I can to land him.
The difference is that the Rams had Todd Stuessie to step in and take Pace's place last year. This year, Stuessie got hurt before Pace did. So combined with Rombergs (Center) injury yesterday, the Rams have lost 6 Olinemen to injuries this year.Grab Bulger at your own risk.whats really weird though is that Pace was hurt last year and Sjax seemed to take off after Pace was out.Mirage?Pace may be the single most significant injury in the NFL this year, given the ramifications for the entire St. Louis offense. Nursing broken ribs and a sore knee, starting quarterback Marc Bulger has sat out two games in which Frerotte has tossed a total of eight interceptions. After Sunday's defeat, Bulger was asked how he was feeling. "Fine," he replied. Has the pain lessened? "Broken ribs, they don't heal in two weeks." Could you possibly play next week? "It's up to the coach." End of interview.
Anderson, not even a question in my mind.Probably wrong forum...but I have a ww choice of Bulger or Derek Anderson. I have Bulger first right now, but am starting to rethink this ...any thoughts?

Backup Gus Frerotte threw five interceptions and lost a fumble in Sunday's 22-3 loss at Baltimore, which kept the Rams (0-6) winless. St. Louis' start matches the worst in franchise history in 1962, when the team finished 1-12-1 as the Los Angeles Rams.
Bulger pointed out he didn't take himself out of the lineup two weeks ago. Now he believes he owes it to his teammates to get back in there.
"Yeah, I'm playing," Bulger said. "I'm ready now after standing around for two weeks. They definitely feel a little better, but I haven't been hit
