Burleson: Every Other Week Wonder? (1 Viewer)

Hey I was going to add this to the Week 8 Sneaky WR Plays thread but decided to break it out to look at it closer. I've been following Burleson closely this year as he's bailed me out of a handful of jams. It occurred to me the other day when looking at his weekly splits Burleson for whatever reason is running very hot one week and pretty cold the next. For what it's worth Week 8 is a "hot week". Watch him go throw my theory over a cliff come Sunday... :goodposting:

Now there may be a thread on this somewhere else in the pool but I searched and found nothing. Check it out: Burleson 09.

Anyone else notice this? Buying it?

U

Edited to add a better game log link.

For the first 5 weeks, it was good game at home, poor game on the road...which happened to be every other week until a poor showing at home against the Cardinals.

Remaining schedule...

The Kevin Walter of 2009.
Wow I had no idea. You weren't kidding...In 2008, starting with week 1, he (Kevin) had either a TD or 98 yards receiving in every odd game (1, 3, 5, etc), for a per game average of 87 yards and 1 TD (8 in 7 games)In every even game number (2, 4, 6, etc) he had a high of 79 yards with an average of 36 and no TDs.Until (of course) the fantasy playoffs when he tanked with 2 catches for 17 yards in Week 15, when he should have scored or gotten at least 98 yards (according to his previous 14 weeks).
