Bush over LJ? (1 Viewer)

Is it crazy to take Reggie Bush over Larry Johnson in a PPR Startup Dynasty league? Assuming that LT and SJAX go 1 and 2?

This will happen quite a bit this off season, but I think much will depend on whether an owner wants to win now or build with youth.

I sort of think that with Bush, you can win now and build with youth.. It is a great decision to have to make though!

I know I'm in the minority, but I think in a PPR you can make a case for SJax at number 1. Young pass-catchers are more valuable if the system lends itself to receptions. LT and LJ both have great hands, but their receptions have been tailing off. LT caught fewer passes as the 2006 season went on.

I think SJax and Bush are fantastic picks in a PPR. I would definitely take Bush over LJ, and I'd really consider SJax over LT. I see Jackson only getting better, and I don't see how LT can get any better. I see his team (coaching, etc) getting worse around him.

I'd have to disagree with your take on Jackson vs LT; St. Louis made 2 key additions to the passing game this offseason adding Bennett and McMichael, while allowing McDonald and Curtis (combined 53 receptions/5 TD) to move on. Bruce is one year older and may be a step slower but anything lost in the passing game through age and departures will be more than made up by Bennett alone I would think, so that leaves us with a true pass catching TE which has been sorely missed in the St. Louis scheme; I have to believe this will take catches away from Jackson thus leaving his role more in line with LT's as far as pass catching. Straight up Head to Head I'll take LT over Jackson in any format.Just my :X :bag:

I think Bush has significantly more value than LJ in PPR dynasty.
So does Westbrook and now with rumors of LJ trades who knows? And last season SJax did better than LT in the playoffs.
