I havent found a link but will update when one is found. Apparently they are taking it slowly with Reggie and McCallister is still in the fold for now so they can afford to take their time.

Saints running back Reggie Bush did not practice Friday and will not play against the Kansas City Chiefs on Sunday, according to Saints Coach Sean Payton.

Payton also listed four other players as out for Sunday's game: cornerback Aaron Glenn (ankle), fullback Mike Karney (knee), center Jonathan Goodwin (knee) and defensive tackle Brian Young (knee). Young has had ongoing problems with his left knee and could miss the rest of the season after increased swelling.

Right tackle Jon Stinchcomb (calf) and receiver Marques Colston (knee) were limited at Friday's practice but are probable for the game, and running back Aaron Stecker (hamstring) and kicker Garrett Hartley (back) had full practices and are probable for the game.

Just confirming:

Reggie Bush won't play

The Saints had been hinting all week that Reggie Bush would return from his knee injury to play against the Chiefs Sunday, but New Orleans declared him out on its injury report.

The Saints also said three other starters (cornerback Aaron Glenn, center Jonathan Goodwin and fullback Mike Karney) also wouldn't play because of injuries.

Officially the Chiefs are listing Tamba Hali, Pat Thomas, Derrick Johnson, Adrian Jones, Brandon Flowers and Patrick Surtain as questionable even though coach Herm Edwards said they would not play.

Okay so who gets the "Bush" carries Stecker or Thomas?
Deuce and PT I think Stecker is still limited with a hamstring injury even though he will dress and is listed as probable. PT is healthier so I say he and Deuce with Deuce seeing the Lions share of the work.

Why isn't there more buzz about this around here? Bush was top five in my league when he went down, and I NEED him for the playoffs. This was strange how he was supposed to play, then DNP on friday. Has there been any setbacks? Are they playing it safe? Why oh why did I not get pierre when I had the chance?????

it was kind of expected that Bush miss 4 games... hes misses next week and we'll start getting worried

I am only concerned about playoffs - but the fact that it seemed as if he'd play, then the story changed last minute definitely has me worried. Didn't he practice Thursday but not Friday?

I hope the same holds true for the Packers sake this week. Hawk will get eaten alive by his speed.
I'm not in agreement here. I remember in 2006 when NO played GB, and I seem to remember Hawk assigned to Bush frequently at least in the run game and meeting Bush several times as he turned the corner. In the passing game, it may be another story so maybe they put Chillar on him (assuming Bush is active) since he is better in coverage. Bush finished that game with 6 rushes for 5 yards, and 6 rec for 68 yards. Again, both were rookies so maybe things have changed a little.

If Bush doesnt play this week(12) I am in a bad spot. I got beat by Dawson last night, the 56 yarder, and have a 1 game lead over 2 teams for the final 2 spots. I beat one, one beat me, and our 3-way tiebreaker is points, which I lead. But I play 2 good teams. What I have read on Reggie so far isnt exactly positive. Saints claim its "too early" to say Bush will play :moneybag:

It is early, didnt he say he was positively going to to play LAST WEEK?

I had to use Chestor Taylor, again, this past week, not so lucky.

I hope Reggie isnt hurting his knee humping that goat faced Kim Kardashean.

I have to think MNF big game, he will play, at least I have Pierre Thomas to swap in there last minute if Reggie is inactive again.

If she's goat-faced to you, you're over-compensating. She's hot to all men being honest. You must be a damn ugly dude to pretend she's not hot enough.

T-P lunchtime chat:

Mike Triplett, T-P: They're practicing right now for the first time all week. Reggie was out there during the individual drills that are open to the media, but we'll find out this afternoon if he participated in team drills. I assume he was limited and that he'll be questionable throughout the week. But I bet he plays Monday night, even if it's just in a limited role.He looked a little better this week than last week in the brief glimpse we saw of him. I do think both he and the team will be extra cautious with him, though, since he does need to be able to cut and run at full speed -- and because his knee is such a valuable part of their present and future.

Tyler's got some interesting pictures on the subject today ... you know, if you're into that sort of thing.

Good news for Reggie Bush owners check out this. Might have to rethink my decision and start Bush over Ronnie Brown and J. Addai

Bush returned to action last week at Tampa Bay, but he struggled to shake off the rust after missing four games with his own knee injury, and he was benched for much of the second half.

"My knee felt fine, I was just rusty. The weather didn't help. It was kind of bad conditions to come back in," Bush said of the wet and windy weather at Tampa. "It's definitely not easy just to bounce back and think you're going to pick up right where you left off. It's going to be a little have. You're going to have some mental errors, and you may drop some balls. So you've really just got to get the kinks out, really, in practice and everything.

"Like today I felt great. This is the best I've felt since I've been back. I feel like I'll have a much, much better game in this game coming up, and I'll look to play an actual full game this time."
