Buy low on Bush? (1 Viewer)

A guy in my league is fed up with Reggie Bush and wants to dump him. He is historically very impatient so I think I might be able to get him cheap. (I just traded him S. Moss for L. Evans this weekend, before Losman went down and Evans laid another egg). Do you think Reggie is going to turn it on like last year?

uh, can you wait a couple hours?

Depending on the street corner as to whether I buy low on Bush.Waiting a couple of hours and he will change his mind. I expect Bush to have a great game

uh, what kind of bush league (i'm a punny guy) allows rosters moves while games are still ongoing? i can't even remember any league ever allowing trades to occur between the start and end of games for a given week.

He never really "turned it on" in the second half of last year. He blew up for a couple of games but he was still very streaky. For as great as he looked in college, his pro career he has yet to look like anything more than a very cheap Westbrook clone.

I'd pray he has a big game soon then I'd pawn him off ASAP.

The trade would not happen until tomorrow. So, I guess my bush league is the same as yours.

If he's a very impatient individual then you probably should have waited until tomorrow to ask this. If Bush has a big game you know the owner in question will demand a lot more from you as he'll see that one game as a sure sign of things to come.Assuming you'll still be able to do this deal tomorrow, I would only do it if A) you're in a ppr league and/or B) you're giving up some overachieving very low quality garbage and feel you will be able to pawn off Bush after his first good game.

we will see . . .

Needing 110 from Bush in one league and 60 from Colston in another I suspect I could miss by a combined 170 yards as bad as this team looks. At this point I can't imagine Bush can be thought of as a RB1 especially in a non-PPR. In the future that may change however this is likely someone who will always be in an RBBC.

If you can get him for Evans that would be an even trade :lmao:

Owner in my league is getting very impatient, I want to make an offer but not sure what he's worth right now.

It will be much cheaper and probably just a little less valuable for your ffl team to pick up Aaron Stecker off waivers.

Bush is just not a between the tackles/every down back..

whether or not Bush can run effectively as a full time, 20+ carries per game starter, I think his value still goes WAY up, just with the dump off passes in a PPR league. In a funny way, the more the Saints struggle, I think the better for Bush. I have Bush in 5 dynasty leagues, and am actually happy McAllister is out.

There was a moment in last nights game where it absolutely appeared that there was a hole on the left side of the line you could have driven a car through. But Bush was stutter stepping his way into the back of the line doing his dancing.

Maybe the holes that the USC line opened up were in his field of vision, but right now I see a very overrated player.

That said, the Duece injury is the best thing to happen to him because instead of being a multi-dimensional threat, he'll concentrate on becoming a better RB.

The rushing game for the Saints is horrible. The two 1 yard Td's is an abberation, he won't get many of those and if he didn't get those last night, his game would have been horrible.

Unless you get him super cheap........I'd pass on any Saints right now expecting them to return to form.

So glad I'm not the only one who saw that play and thought the exact same thing you did. He makes one simple cut to the left and its go time for Reggie. Consider me slightly concerned about Bush. He's an all-world athlete, but any legit running back would've had the vision to cut that to the left for at least a 15-20 yard gain. Instead he doesn't see it and picks up 4. I think he'll come around, but it's obviously taking more time than one would've hoped.
