Don't list studs like MJD or Carson Palmer because even guppies won't trade them after one week. Here are a few players, however, that you might think about trading for/away:
BUY LOW
1. Jonathan Stewart - as expected, Carolina's run game struggled against San Diego, but Stewart (53 yards, 0 TDs) was in the game on the second series, averaged over 5 a carry, and will eventually take over for the starter Williams. He will be a beast later this year.
2. Steve Smith - if you had any doubts about Delhomme, they should be gone now.
3. Torry Holt - 9 yards? Tell his owner that he's done, he's over-the-hill. Better yet, wait until after the next game (Giants) and grab him even cheaper. Holt and the entire Rams offense will rebound.
HONORABLE MENTION - Randy Moss - Yes, he's a stud, so I'm breaking my own rule, but the Brady injury might have owners desparate to get rid of him. Moss' numbers will take a hit, but he's still a TD machine.
SELL HIGH
1. Michael Turner - You've just seen the best game this guy will EVER have. There will never be a better time to trade him. I'd even trade him for MJD
2. Fast Willie Parker - see Michael Turner.
3. Hines Ward - He probably still has a few games like this left in him, but Holmes is still the Steeler receiver you want.
