The Giants are 1-7 since 2001 in the game following their bye. Does this worry you Giant fans, as it appears they are headed for a sure bye in the playoffs?
No Seahawks in the playoffs but I did miss that one...I had the Cleveland game as the post-bye week loss. Hopefully that Seattle win will be the start to a new streak, we'll see but 2-6 would still scare me as a fan.
Once again, NY Giants are the not the same after a bye...they just do not prepare well. The better team loss and the Giants would be better served coming from the wild-card.
The Giants should have stuck with the run once they got into scoring position but Kevin Killdrive decided to go away from the run and let Eli try to throw the ball
Eli looked terrible throwing the ball all day, even on most of his completions. It was easy to see McNabb was the better thrower today. I'm surprise the Giants didn't pound the ball more, they seemed to be pretty effective for the most part doing that.

Terrible play calling for the Giants today. The run was working great and they just kept going away from it. Throwing it three straight times on 1st and 5?!?!? Anyway, besides the BYE a larger issue for the Giants is at home at the Meadowlands home field doesn't really seem to be an advantage for them. Eli doesn't seem to excel at throwing it in the wind. Hopefully it's not too late to throw a roof on the new stadium.
