Three championship games today ...

Div III played this morning:

Oaks Christian HS ranked #6 in the nation with top national prospect QB Jimmy Clausen (headed to Notre Dame), RB Marc Tyler (Wendell's son, headed to USC), and linebacker Casey Matthews (Clay's son, going to Oregon?), as well as 8 other D1 players, nearly lost the title and their 45 game win streak to Cardinal Newman HS from Santa Rosa.

A couple of freinds of mine coach that Newman team and they almost pulled off a huge upset, losing 27-20 in OT.

Just wanted to say congrats to them and see if anyone else here got to see the game on FSN - it was outstanding.

FWIW, Tyler broke his leg 3-4 weeks ago and didn't play in this game. He is the real deal though...
