Wanted to get opinions from SOS experts and veterans about whether you feel that your QB's own defense's matchup effect their numbers more or does the SOS of your QBs RB matter most.
Not sure if I worded that right...
I have been studying SOS and it looks like (for example) JP LOSMAN has a middle of the road QB SOS. Further analysis shows that BUF RBs SOS appears to be preseason the hardest in the league.
Their DEF SOS is also the hardest in the league.
Hypothetically, should it push you towards Losman becausetheir offense will be facing tougher defenses against the run...or does it push you toward Losman because their Defense will be facing potent offenses and more than likely Losman will have to produce to stay in most games?
OR...Do you soley think that because BUF QB SOS is relatively easy, he should have a decent year.
Before this turns into a Losman thread...Losman is just an example. I also know preseason SOS isn't an exact science. Any insight or past experiences are welcomed
