Detroit's Calvin Johnson caught eight passes for 133 yards -- all but 14 of them in the first half, when he ran by Zack Bowman. The Bears put Charles Tillman on him in the second half and that helped before Johnson left late in the game with a leg injury but the nature and severity wasn't immediately known.

He got LAID out a few times in the game. He might have just been tired and sore, and with a minor injury to the franchise WR they played it safe in a blowout.

I have no information to form this opinion other than I watched the game.

IMO he was just wore down, the game was out of hand, so no use beating him down more.

They need to quit putting him in positions where he can take a beating. Cut out the end arounds and stupid screen passes. That should be to the smaller WRs' They are going to get him hurt bad one of these days.

The Associated Press reports Detroit Lions WR Calvin Johnson (leg) caught eight passes for 133 yards Week 4, but he was forced to leave late with a leg injury. The nature and severity of the injury was not known.

But Johnson left Sunday's game late in the fourth quarter with an apparent leg injury. "I tried loosening my legs up, they got a little tight," he said. "I'll be all right, though."
