Camp Hype... Let's do this. (1 Viewer)

This board has become weak sauce. Even the news outlets this year have been very low key. So who has been hot in camp so far? The most I've heard is news about Vance McDonald, Terrence West, Tyreek Hill, Michael Thomas and Sammie Coates all looking good. Haven't heard too many overweight/bad news stories, include those too.... Time to get the 2016 hype machine rolling along.

Coach Mike Mularkey says he has seen too much "inconsistency" from Dorial Green-Beckham early in Titans camp.

Mularkey mentioned Green-Beckham and Justin Hunter both as "inconsistent" performers. Being grouped in with Hunter can't be a great sign. Green-Beckham should at least get a ton of run this preseason because he's been practicing with the second- and third-team offenses. DGB remains squarely behind Rishard Matthews, Kendall Wright, Tajae Sharpe, and probably Andre Johnson.

According to the Titans' website, DeMarco Murray "continues to impress" in camp.

We haven't heard much about Murray so far this summer, but he's evidently doing his job. Murray may be handling his business, but Derrick Henry is drawing plaudits for his pass catching, meaning he could end up challenging Murray on all three downs. With Dexter McCluster also involved, Murray has zero room for error in a backfield that could quickly devolve into a "hot hand" mess.

The Miami Herald reports there is "growing optimism" Arian Foster can be "the guy" at running back.

Today has been Foster buzz day at camp. As Foster continues to look smooth, Jay Ajayi rehabs a knee issue on the sideline. Asked about the Dolphins' 2015 committee approach at running back, OC Clyde Christensen said it's something the team hopes to avoid. "We really need someone to emerge as the guy," Christensen said. "We don't want to substitute. ... We really need one guy to be a three-down back, stay in there for that drive." Every indication has been Miami wants Foster to be that bell-cow.
