We didn't know who the #1 pick was. This just smells of a trade I just have a feeling TB is going to end up with the #1 overall and Oakland is going Quinn @ the 4rth overall. (3 1/2 hrs to go and nothing in stone) I love this day.

2004 - Few people believed that San Diego would actually pull the trigger and draft Eli Manning when he said he would sit out a year and re-enter the draft rather than play for the Chargers.

1998 - Afterwards, the Colts claimed they had eyes for no one but Peyton, but leading up to it there seemed to be about a 20-30% chance that they could actually draft Leaf.
