I'd be surprised if Jones finished as a top-20 RB, Seattle isn't in Dallas' league as an offense any more and Jones was never all that good in Dallas. I think Seattle will likely draft a RB on the first day anyway. If everything breaks right maybe he'll be a low-end RB2, but it won't be for me, I value him pretty similar to a guy like LenDale White at this point only JJ likely won't get the goal-line looks with Duckett(or a rookie) taking carries.
The difference is, in Seattle he'd be the undisputed #1, someone who'll get 25-30 carries per game.He didn't get that much action in Dallas, because of their RBBC approach. His lifetime ypc is 3.9, which is lackluster for sure. I'm more inclined to give him the benefit of the doubt, Holmgren knows a thing or two about RB's. in 1997, Dorsey Levens had 12 total tds, 53 catches, and 1435 yards rushing.in 1999, he caught 71 balls , scored 10 times, and ran for over 1,000 yards.Edgar Bennett ran for 1000+ yards in 1995, scored 7 total tds, and caught 61 balls. In 1994, he had 9 tds and 78 receptions. The point I'm trying to make is that Jones will not only have his chances at rushing the ball, but also will see a ton of passes come his way.. in a PPR league, he's a big time sleeper.....Thomas Jones was a bust until he landed in Chicago. Priest Holmes was an average RB in Baltimore, until he wound up in KC, Ryant Grant couldn't find his place in NY, but wound up doing well in GB. Ahman Green was a first class bust in Seattle, until Holgrem traded for him..
